I figure it can't hurt to ask for help with my birthday trip

I'm planning a solo birthday trip (God bless my wife and kids for going along with their dad's crazy Disney obsession) on November 11th. I'm flying in from Canada for 1 day and plan to try going to 3 parks that day. I want to do 2-3 rides per park focusing on rides I've never been on (because the kids have been to young, like EE or RR) or perennial favorites (like Muppets). I'm going to be doing AK, DHS and Epcot in that order.

The only hiccup with my ride plans is Toy Story Mania at DHS. I'm probably only going to be in the park for a couple hours and won't be there until probably 10:30 or 10:45. Any fastpasses for TSM will likely be for mid-afternoon at that point in the day. So my only hope for riding it would be really short standby or single rider lines.

Unless... (and I figure the worst that happens is I get no response) there's going to be some DIS'er that's going to be at DHS on November 11th that will have someone in their party who won't want to go on TSM (can't imagine why... but I can only hope) and wouldn't mind picking me up an extra fastpass first thing that morning. I can meet up with them and pick it up and provide my eternal thanks.

If not, I'll pass on the ride that day.

Happy Birthday!
Are you gong to WDW on your ACTUAL birthday?

If so, and you have a multi-day ticket, you could gat a Birthday FP for use in DHS.

Otherwise, you can upgrade your Free on Your Birthday park ticket to a Hopper
so your 3-park will cost about $60.

Why not do DHS, AK, and Epcot in THAT order?

No single rider line for TSM.

Thanks! And yes, I'm doing this on my actual birthday. I'm flying in the day before (and going to MVMCP that night) and leaving the day after my birthday.. About 48 hours in Orlando.

No multi-day ticket, but yes I plan to pay the extra few $ to upgrade to the hopper.

A couple reasons. First is transportation. It seemed shorter to do it in this order rather than having to head over to AK and back. This way there's only one trip to AK. The other is food. I haven't eaten at 50's prime time since a year after it opened and wanted to have lunch there. But your suggested order is certainly a good option.

Thanks. I thought I'd read somewhere there was but I must have it confused with something else.

Well, first off I wanted to say I hope you have a great birthday and that your plan works out for you. My dh's birthday is also the 11th and we will be there, but it's only the 2 of us and we are going to Epcot on that day.

TSM at DHS started out with a Single Rider Line, but they closed it within a short time after the opening.
