Grand Cayman Island Tour and Butterfly Farm. Too rushed? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Okay I know this is a weird question. I like to shop and the gift shops at Hell may take some time to shop for about 10 other people. I also plan on picking things up at all other stops. will I be too rushed for this on an excursion or are the Hell gifts available at the waterfront shopping as well? Would like some advice from someone who has done this excursion.

We did the island tour thru Captain Marvin's and were not rushed at all. I suspect there is some kick back going on as there were a couple of gift shops at Hell and we were guided toward one of them. We were given plenty of time to shop both at Hell and at the Rum place. It did take a while to shop because I'd find the shirt I wanted only to discover that they didn't have it in the right size (groan).

The only place we were given a time to meet at a certain spot was at the turtle farm....and that allowed us plenty of time. At the shops, it was more a matter of the guide finding us and asking if we were ready.

If you are talking about the Island tour excursion with the Disney boat we went on that excursion. We had plenty of time at each stop...the turtle farm, Hell, The rum shop and the butterfly farm.
