Just got back. Can I just say I LOVE the dining plan.

We arrived on the 19th of September. Stayed at All Stars Music.

Our first dining was on the 20th at Grand Floridian Cafe. Ok can I just say I won't go back. Our waitress seemed like she was a Denny's waitress. We asked for my DH's steak to just be a steak on a plate nothing more (he's really picky). It came with everything on the plate. My DH sent it back. They were going to make him another plate and he said "no thanks". They didn't charge a credit for it thank goodness. My DS steak was more done than medium. He didn't eat much of it.

The other thing that happened was the waitress wasn't going to allow my 9 yo to eat off of the adult menu. We knew my DH wasn't going to use all his credits and I have a almost 2 yo. Since the 2 yo isn't on the dining plan, we gave my DS's credit to her and DS took DH's credit. Well the waitress didn't like that. She said we could do it this time but it probably wasn't going to be allowed in any of the other restaurants. Well we had no problems anywhere else.
My lobster burger was REALLY good. It is not a pick up and eat burger. I finally took my knife and fork to it. But if you love lobster, hollandaise sauce and asparagus. You will love the burger.

I will not go back.

Chefs de France
; This was wonderful. The french onion soup was delicious. My MIL and FIL had the special that came with the soup. MIL had the chicken. I had a bite of her potatoes. They were yum. FIL had the salmon. He said it was really good. I had the steak. It was really good. DS had the duck. We had them put the sauce on the side. He loved it. Our waiter was delightful. Desserts were wonderful. Creme brulee, apple crepe and puff pastery filled with ice cream. I would definately go back.

Chef Mickey's breakfast; Couldn't be more perfect. Except for the wait. DH who is picky loved it. He found plenty to eat. The characters were wonderful. I loved Goofy's vegetable lasagna. I sucks that you have to pay for the picture. While the picture at Akershus comes with the meal. We will book this again.

1900 Park Fare; We have friends that had reservations about 20 minutes before us. They got in on time. We got in about 50 minutes late. They were even going to bring us out drinks and fruit until our table was ready. We had a res. for 6 plus a high chair. We did get table #2. So when Cinderella came out she came to our table 2nd. Which was really nice. Anastasia was really fun. Prince Charming was very charming. The food was really good. I of course loved the chilled strawberry soup. Desserts were really good. I would go back.

Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus breakfast Food was good, not great. We got 2 pictures with Belle that came with the price of the meal. We had Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, and Aurora come to our table. Cinderella gave my 2 yo a big kiss on her cheek. She has come huge lips. Ariel decided to match it on the other cheek. The character experience is wonderful. The waiter was nice and brought my DH a plate heaping of bacon (he hates other foods touching his food and other food issues). I would book this again. I might try lunch or dinner though.

50's Prime Time Cafe It was a fun experience. Our waiter was really great. We had the steak, potroast and meatloaf. My FIL loved his meatloaf. He kept wanting more meatloaf for the rest of our trip. It wasn't my favorite but there are not many choices in Hollywood Studios. So I might book it again if I didn't have any other options.

Crystal Palace They were running late but let us know when we checked in. Food was really good. I loved the ratiouille. There was also a pasta dish that was really good. The desserts were wonderful. And my kids loved the characters. My 2yo was screaming when she saw Pooh across the room. And she didn't stop until he got to her. Really cute but embarassing. My 9yo DS even loved the characters. 7yo DD probably loved the princesses more but was still happy. I loved that it was in the park. I would probably book this again.

Le Cellier THE BEST. We were seated 5 minutes before our res. My DH says it was just a notch under Ruths Chris steakhouse. He loved it as did everyone else. We had enough adult credits that we got my DS and DD an adult meal. The 3 of them had the New York. It was cooked perfectly. I had the Mushroom Filet Mignon with wild mushroom risotto. OMG it was SOOOO good. Even the first bite of just a mushroom and I was saying Mmmmmm. MIL and FIL had the prime rib they really liked it. My 2yo had the soup, which I ate, and noodles with butter, which she played with. The bread was really good. My 2yo at least at the bread. Dessert was great. It was most original out of all the places we went. We had about everything on the menu. DH had smores. The cookies were really good on this. DS had the chocolate wiskey cake. MIL had the maple creme brulee. FIL had the moose, he really liked it. I had something that is new. It was this meringue thing that had wine in it with a fruit sauce over the top. Very good especially for those that like wine. DD had an seasonal apple something. I liked it. She didn't want it so she had 2yo DD's ice cream sundae. This is a MUST for a dining reservation. WE WILL BE BACK!!!! Our favorite meal by far.

Cape May; We were running late because we were trying to check out, so ASM called us a cab and picked up the tab. We were seated on time. Characters were good. Food was good. I would go again but want to try something else for next time.

Counter service
Flame Tree Barbecue; This was really good. You get alot of yummy food for your credit. I loved the baked beans. They are the best I have ever had. 3 of us had the ribs and my DS had the pulled pork sandwich. This was our first meal using the dining plan. My FIL was very impressed.

All Stars Music; I was impressed at the options. Food was good. I would highly recommend the build your own salad. We took breakfast food to go serveral times. They had lids and bags available.

ABC Commissary; I was wanting to go to Studio Catering CO. But when I got there and realized it was outside, I decided I wanted air conditioning. So I had the cheeseburger and DD had chicken nuggets. Nothing special but still good. The eating area was great.

Wolfgang Puck Express; Excellant. They really hurry you through line though. FIL had the Turkey Hoagie and loved it. MIL had the spagetti and meatballs. She got the house salad with it. It was REALLY good. I had the Margherita pizza. It was great. DS had mac and cheese. It was a bit to much for him. To cheesy, but would be great as a side dish. DD's had the kids quesadillas

My DH loved the dining plan so much he rebooked us for next year. That is saying ALOT since his is SOOO picky. He never went hungry. He loved being able to get pretzels on a snack credit. We also found that at the resort they let us get 3 snacks for a counter service meal. We tried this in the parks and it didn't work. It was nice at the end when we had some credits left and were able to get a bunch of MM rice krispy treats to take home.

thanks for posting and have enjoyed reading your food review. We love Chefs de France too. Sorry you guys got a bad server at GFC, it makes or breaks the meal sometimes. I'm glad you guys enjoyed.
