Norway Princess Lunch with Two 20 Year Olds?

Hi everyone!

My best friend and I are back to Disney with my parents in a few months. We did CP last time as 18 y.o. (during our graduation present trip). This time around, we're juniors in college and interested in doing another meal. Just wanted to know if anyone's gone to Norway with older teens/young adults, and what you thought of it. Is it even worth it? We both love the princesses. We're kind of over the Pooh characters and whatnot. However, if we're going to be ignored during the meal, I'd rather us spend our money (we're paying OOP) somewhere else. We'll be eating there for lunch with my parents.

Thanks!

ive never been for lunch but at breakfast ive seen good character interaction with adults, i think you get out as much as you put in in these situations

You won't be ignored by the princesses. We were just at Akershus brkfst three weeks ago & the table next to us had two young adults (in their 20's) who were by themselves. Every princess stopped at their table and spent time with them & posed for pictures just like at all the other tables. Go and have a great time!

I'm 23 and I LOVE the Norway Princess dinner! I went with my best friend and my Mum when I was 21 and again last feburary when I was 22 and will be going again with just my Mum in December / January. I have never felt out of place or silly or embarrassed in anyway so I say go for it! In fact I think the princesses enjoy talking to older princesses - having a gossip about their handosme princes! Just get into the spirit of the meal and you'll have a great time!

I am so excited to hear this - we have dinner ressies there. I am taking two 26 year college students with me and they are excited most about the character meals.

To be honest with you, in 7 trips, I have never once done a character meal - I am really looking forward to it.

This makes me happy! Caroline and I are 19/20 and we're still obsessed with the princesses. We booked ADRs for breakfast at Akershus and we hope it's as good as when we were 7!

We went as 2 (30-ish) adults and the princesses were great with us. Also, the food at dinner was really great, which can be a concern at some character meals. We had the mustard-glazed salmon over roasted red potatoes and roasted carrots.

Aurora asked if we wanted a pic and I said no thanks (we mostly went because we like Norwegian food and to watch them with the kids) and she raised her eyebrows at DH and said, "You *do* want a picture of your princess, don't you?" She also asked us how long it took us to get from Albuquerque to Disney on horseback.

The princesses will definitely make an effort, like someone else said, it's about what you put into it. Last time we were there we sat next to a family with two teenage boys (and no younger kids or girls) and the boys were visably mortified. But if you're into it, I'm sure the princesses will be as well.

PP... "two teenage boys visably mortified". OMG, I'm laughing so hard.

GOGOGO
This is what makes DISNEY so wonderfully enchanting, you get to act like a kid no matter what your age is!!
