Looking over DSs pictures from his recent trip to the World, I'm pouring over them and DH says, "OK, go ahead and book for next year"

HECK YEAH!!! We're going back! Now, the questions:

1. How far out can we book for next year?

2. Can someone talk to me about payment plan options...

3. If we book DDP and the come out with FD, can we credit the difference back with tickets to MNSSHP?

4. With DDP, is it really worth it for 5 days?

5. DS has 2 days no expiration from last week's trip. If we book a package, how do I book for him? We'd only need to buy him a 3 day pass. Do we include him on the ressie or not??

1. Until December 31, 2010
2. $200 down payment and then you have until 45 days out from your trip to pay off the rest of the trip.
3. Don't know for sure but I know if you make the changes before you are completely paid for then it will just change your amount due. We had to pay for MNSSHP with a credit card separate from our package this year but I can't remember if I bought them after our 45 days.
4. Depends on your family...not so much if you eat alot of counter service but if you like the higher end restaurants I think it works for our family.
5. You can always just get all of you 3 day passes and then up grade everyone else when you get onsite.

As far as you want, CRO can take reservations for all year and even into the next year (I'm thinking its like a weird number like 490 days out or something like that)

Book with disney travel company, pay $200 deposit and have remainder of your trip paid off 45 days before arrival.
Disney visa also offers 6 months 0% APR on all vacation travel packages.

No. You can change your reseravations to include the free dining if they have availability on your dates and resort. If you book a package that includes the dining plan and are paying for it they will refund the difference.

4. With DDP, is it really worth it for 5 days?
Which was first the chicken or the egg? This is a great debate. We do think DDP works for our family but for others it doesn't. But we will NEVER pay for it (well the DDP, we will QSP), you can check out menus on allears.net and get prices, then look at your families eating habits and see what you world normally spend. Is it less than DDP will cost? If so don't take the dining plan, if not it may be a good deal for your family.

Yes if he is staying in your room. And if you do a 'package' eveyrone in the room will have to have the same ticket option. Your best (and least confusing) bet is to keep that ticket for a later trip if you are booking a package.

Thanks for all of the info! I love this board!

Now, I thought of something else I wanted to run by everyone...

DH is in with CSR, but told me to book the trip if it was around $1700. When I told him that I priced that out in a value (not counting transportation to and from the World...) he was like, "oh, I'd rather stay where we were..."

Should I look to book the mod w/o DDP and PRAY for FD or pay for a value w/DDP??

Concerning KTTW cards, DS didn't have one before, but since he'd be 4 at the time of travel, is he expected to have his own KTTW card?
