Celebrating a Birthday at Disneyland
Does Disneyland or the Disneyland Hotel do anything special for a child celebrating a birthday? What about Disney Restaurants?

We just came back from DL where we had 3 birthday celebrations!! DS turned 8, DDIL 19, and a very special Aunt...
We were staying at DLR and at check in the CM gave both DS and DDIL a balloon bouquet of 3 balloons each, a happy birthday button and a signed 8x10 picture...DS got his fav Buzz and Woody, DDIL got Mickey and Minnie. My Aunt was staying at GC and she got the same thing there!! We also ordered chocolate covered strawberries for DDIL (2.50 each and they were BIG) that were delivered and for DS we ordered a custom cake that was deliever as well. They made a mistake with the size of the cake, I had originally ordered a 10 inch round and changed it to 1/4 sheet. The cake was awesome (24.00)buttercream frosting, frsh strawberries and custard filling. Because they made a mistake on the cake, I called and spoke with Disney Planning, they were soooo nice! They sent a dozen Mickey head Rice Crispy treats dipped in chocolate PLUS 12 Mickey Mouse head cookies (like at the bakery) to our room with a card that said "Have a Magical Night...Love Mickey and Friends!" I have pics if you would like me to post them....
