Sofa slipcovers

I am looking for a stretchy 3-piece slipcover, one that has covers for the bottom and back cushions that are separate from the sofa. The best I can find is the surefit 3 piece at Bed bath and Beyond and on the Surefit website for $150. Have you had any luck with these, how do they work and fit? Sure beats buying a new sofa I guess.

I have recently recovered my old sofa with a 2-piece slipcover (one piece for the cusions and the other on for everything else). I guess I didn't know about 3-piece ones! Anyways, I bought mine from Overstock, looks great, especially after I tucked everything in neatly. It was 78.99 with free shipping. Can't recall the maker right now, but I do remember seeing some Surefits on there.
HTH!

Do slip covers really stay put? I'd hate to put out $$ for something that needs to be adjusted as soon as someone sits on it. Do they have foam on the back or what stops them from slipping?

I just bought a t-cushion sofa and t-cushion loveseat slipcovers from Walmart (Chocolate Brown suede). They are staying on without having to fix them every time we sit down. My sofa has skinny arms so there's some bunching up along that part of the sofa but otherwise they fit good.
Also, most sofa are up against a wall but in our case, our sofa is not so the slip cover has a white material on the back of the sofa if you don't mind that. I'm just so happy to be rid of the buttoned look/kitty ripped sofa until we can get new sofas.
Oh, and Walmarts covers were about $45 each.

Before I got married, I covered my then sofa (t-cushion) and an upholstered rocker with Surefit covers. They were awesome! Mine also was not up against a wall and did not have a white backing - it was the same fabric and color as the rest of the cover.

Google Surefit coupon and you can usually get a percentage off. And $150 is way cheaper than buying new furniture IMO.

I got my 2 piece at Target, on sale and used a 10% off coupon, I think I piad about $68. The cushions go in one section and the other piece is for the rest of the sofa. It's not perfect, but it's better than the ones that are one piece and you use rollers to something to tuck it in.

For me, it was something to cover the couch that was getting some damage from wear and tear before we are ready to buy a new couch and loveseat...

I think I'll just bite the bullet and order the Surefit one. I really do need the 3 piece because the back pillows are loose and will never stay under a one piece cover. Glad to hear that Surefit is good quality. Anything will look better than my stained couch!! Thanks everyone.

Last question, I'm thinking of getting the stretch fabric instead of the duck fabric. I figure it will hug the furniture better. True?

The stretch is nice, but I had the duck - needed to retuck every now and again after the kids jumping all over it.

I ordered a set, LS and Sofa off QVC. The taupe was WAY more "beigy", dark color than I wanted. I was able to get it on okay, but there was so much extra fabric on the arms, to me it looked cheesy. I musyt say though that I sat and got up and down for over a day to see how it would hold up, ie not pulling out...and they did Not pull out at all....but sizing was not right and color was not right either.... So, $184., and then QVC charged me 8.50 to send back.
I wound up buying 2 full size blanket and using that only on the seating area (which is two large cushions). I literally just wrapped it over the cushions and it looks like one piece....SO, now it looks like those new styles where the coordinated fabric on the seating area differs from pattern on arms and back (and pillows that back the couch and did same on l/s).
BEST part, they were $4 each, a CRAZY sale at Walmart.....it'll due thru the holidays then I MAY have the cushions cleaned or think about getting them re-covered as the set is really in great shape, just some dirt and stains and I am a chemical free house as much as possible, so have not had someone in to remove stains with chems.....afraid to remove them and clean them for fear I'll shrink them..............
