Best way to request room location?

Just wondering if people have had good luck with putting room location requests as part of the reservation? Do they honor the request? Or faxing to the hotel? I always wait till I get there and ask but it usually results in us standing there forever while they shift people around. Any way to make a request ahead of time that actually might be read and used? I am bummed that online check in doesn't have any area for comments like this kind of request...

How do you get the fax numbers for the hotels? We are staying at the Carribean Beach..... Thanks!

we have always gotten what we wanted when we put the request in with the reservation itself....the faxes don't work, don't bother -

just call Disney back and have them put the request on your reservation

Agreed! We have always been fortunate enough to get our requests and we have always included them on our initial reservation. Don't wait until you get there. Call and have them note your requests on your reservation.
