Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouse accessories sale at TRU?

I have seen them on sale in the past buy one get one free. Does anyone know when this sale typically happens? Also, where is the best price on the actual house? TIA

I bought one for my DD last year in the middle of November at Toys 'r Us. I can't remember how exactly how much I paid but I'm sure it was the best deal at the time because I research this house for a looong time. They had an exclusive set that was the house, family, and diningroom furniture (this was the typical set also a Wal-Mart, etc) but it also came with outdoor furniture (picnic table, grill, food, swingset). It went on sale and they also let me use a 20% coupon that I got in the mail on it. The closest one in-stock was 40 min away and it was still the best deal by far.

TRUS runs this sale in the fall. In my area is has been the first week of October. They used to include the house as well. It was great because a friend of mine needed it too and we split the cost of the house & all the furniture.I think they stopped last year and just sold the accessories.

Check out the fisher price website too. I thought I saw on in the catalog for $100 - included several rooms of furniture as well.

You just missed the sale - but it didn't include the Loving Family items

Toys R' Us just had their Geoffrey's Birthday Sale last week with all the buy 2 get 1 free deals. They did not include the Loving Family dollhouse this year. Instead it was the new Fisher Price Princess Palace/Castle (don't know the exact name). I was bummed about this because I too was looking for the Loving Family house and accessories. I ended up buying the house last week at TR'Us for $69.99 and it came with a free outdoor accessory set (swingset/grill/ picnic table). Toys R'Us Online sells a dollhouse bundle with maybe 6 rooms of furniture for around $159 (I think). I was going to do this deal, but some family members offered to buy the furniture pieces for DD, so I went with just the house.

Thanks for the replies!

I don't think the buy 2 get 1 would be the same sale, since they always run that one each year too. Hopefully it's in the coming weeks!

I just saw the house at Walmart for $69 and that included the patio set also. I wonder if the bundle works out to be a better deal. I'm not sure how much those sets are individually though. I also saw the FP deal, but I think shipping would kill it.

The accessory sets seem to be between $10 and $20. I know the kitchen and living rooms were $20 a piece.

Of course by the time I got there, my TRU only had a few sets left. Have to hike it to another city and hope they have some others. The website will only let you get one free with the deal!

you don't need to separate orders. I bought 6 pieces in one order. I think two were $12.99, 2 were $9.99 and two were $6.99 (people). I got $12.99, $9.99 and $6.99 off. I also used a $5 off of $25 coupon which I found on www.slickdeals.net for signing up for a free rewards program.

Oh crud, figures! I would have gotten some people and the dog set, but I didn't want to do a bunch of orders. I think I'll go back tomorrow, thanks!!

We also got ours mid-Nov with a coupon, I literally had to stalk the store while they were unloading the truck (were getting in 2, none on the sales floor). It was also a Black Friday deal last year, but we ended up doing just as good if not better with the coupon in mid-Nov. I found we did much better with the bundle set at TRU- it came with at least the parents and girl's bedrooms, nursery, kitchen, bathroom. We ended up adding a computer room, laundry room, the van, a horse and DD is getting the dining room this year.

Thanks for posting about the BOGO, I just got the dining room today at WalMart but I will have to check out TRU while DD is at preschool.

I finally got all the furniture sets by visiting 3 different stores in 3 different cities. So worth it though for the savings! And, I didn't have to split up my order as they gave me a free smae priced one for each one! And that $5 coupon was awesome!
