Shuttle Bus from DLR to GardenWalk?
When we visited in May of this year, there was a free shuttle bus that would take you from DLR to the GardenWalk. Does anyone know if it is still running? We want to try Fire & Ice and I was thinking this would be a good option to get us there and back. Thanks!

![]() Even though this will be our third trip to DL we did not have a car on the other two trips so we did not get a chance to do any touring...

The GardenWalk is an outdoor mall. It has several shops and restaurants as well as some entertainment options. You can find out more at http://www.anaheimgardenwalk.com. It's a fun place to spend some time.

I don't know about the shuttle, but it is a short walk from DLR. We did that in June on a very hot day. It has some good places to eat (we ate at the Cheesecake Factory) but the stores leave much to be desired. Almost all of them are fashion related. A couple would be fine, but the only store we wandered in was the candy store. They really need more variety if they want to keep people there.

Great movie theater - serves beer and wine in an area set aside for those over 21, so even if you don't drink it's nice to not have rugrats and teeny-bops in the theater. But be prepared - they card everyone, even me with my gray hair. I actually found it amusing, the employees are just doing their job. ;-)
Other stuff - a trendy bowling alley, a P.F. Chang's, Bubba Gump's, and a few other nice (expensive) restaurants. As mentioned above, it's a short walk from DL, the north end of the mall being on Disney Way facing the Pumbaa parking lot. All of the nice restaurants are on the south end, on Katella. |
