How is POP food court?

Since I only made one ADR for our quickie 4 day trip we will be eating quite a bit at the food court. Will There be enough breakfast choices? Or should we just skip it and get cinnamon roll or something at the parks? TIA-Julie

When we stayed at the POP in March, we ate in the food court several times for breakfast. It wasnt anything to write home about, but was good enough to get us fueled up and ready to start the day, and keep us satisfied until lunchtime. I do remember getting a pretty good omlet. They had bacon, eggs, mickey waffles, muffins, pastries, cinnamon rolls....all the normal stuff. Then there are things like fruit, pop tarts, granola bars, cereal and milk....I always get myself and DH up and ready and he heads to food court while I get the kids up and dressed. When he gets back with the food, we eat and run! If you go to the food court for a meal other than breakfast, they had good nachos and made a good grilled cheese too! Hope you have a blast!!

We have stayed at Pop a couple of times and always eat Breakfast at the food court. My fav is the pancake platter, but I also like the fact that they have other things, like a little bakery serve yourself and plenty of fruit, juice and other items in the grab section....so you can literally eat on the run if need be.

Also, make sure to try the Mom's night out fried chicken - we really liked it!

We spent a week at Pop in August and had breakfast in the food court every morning. There was plenty of variety for us, and since we got there early we didn't wait in long lines. DD#2 loved the kid's pancake platter, I had a fruit bowl every morning, and DD#1 had cereal (in those individual serving boxes that I refuse to buy at home because they are expensive).

out of all the food courts we have experienced POP is one of the ones we like the best... they have a large variety.... we only like Pepper market better... we have found at POP you always can find a seat, the lines move quick enough and the food is fine....

If you're not bothering with a dining plan, I assume you can purchase food here without a problem? If so, is it cash only or can you charge it to your room if need be?

Anyone can purchase food from the food court. You can use cash or plastic, or if you add charging to your room key, you can use that.

We will only be there for 4 days/3 nights. So I am not going to bother with more than one TS meal as my kids could probably care less and I don't want to waste any time. As long as DS and DD have enough variety breakfast should be fine. Thanks for all the answers, sounds like we should be fine

Pop has the best food court of all of the resorts. They have wonderful variety of baked goods that are only 1 snack credit each and great breakfast platters that can be bought using CS credits. For those paying cash, the baked goods are reasonably priced and you can get the hot breakfast meal items without drinks or sides for cheaper; just get the refillable mug for your drinks.

We stayed a week at POP 9/16-9/22. Loved the variety and the food was good. Breakfast was great. Omelets were wonderful. You won't be disappointed.

pop has a great variety. that being said, DH and i bring oatmeal packets from home and just use the hot water. saves a TON of money (that i wind up spending on mickey pops).

oh and those tie dye cheesecakes pop has? yeah, i've eaten them for breakfast before!

Breakfast is not my favorite meal of the day, but Pop had the standard fare. I still think that Main St. Bakery in MK has the best breakfast anywhere on property. But the lunches, dinners and everything in between at Pop is the best food court of all Disney resorts imho. We just got back from a split stay at CSR and GF and I really missed the food court at Pop!

We ate breakfast at the Pop food court almost every morning of our 10 day trip. I got hooked on the breakfast pizza!
