4th trip, but still need advice

Hi everyone! We're planning our 4th trip towards the end of May I do need a bit of advice though...we've always gone in November when the weather is great, it's not hot at all. However it will be pretty hot in May, so I'm concerned about being too hot and getting miserable. Now, we live in Louisiana so the heat isn't foreign to us, but we still want to enjoy ourselves.

So, can you give me some suggestions, in each park, that are good places to cool off?

Also, we've never gone back to our resort during the day for a break. Do you feel like you waste valuable park time doing this? We're not commando type people (learned that the hard way) We're not park hopping this trip, but we are planning a "chill out" day in the middle, plus one day at the water parks.

Can't wait

BAM! I have a crush on Emeril Lagasse!
Oh well, let's look on the bright side.
If I hadn't been so wiped out I would have kissed my anesthesiologist

We're from Texas so I can understand how you know the heat but still want to avoid it as much as possible. We find that seeing lots of shows and taking drink or snack breaks INSIDE rather than outside keeps us cooled off. Checking out shops occasionally also helps.

It's really not that bad. Take it slow, get a lot done during the cooler mornings and enjoy those pleasant evenings! Taking afternoon breaks is fine but we often end up going to a nearby resort just to sit and rest for a bit.

i love going in may, i think the weather is gorgeous. its warm, but it doesnt have that heavy humidity to it. our last trip was over memorial day, i didnt find it very busy, but we made good use of our fast passes. that was the first trip that we took a mid-day break, if your there early you can hit most of the big things and then get the smaller ones when you go back. i think that now that i know i will be back to the world, i get less and less commando each trip.

We have gone to Disney in May 2x and truelly enjoyed it. I felt the weather was great (except the days we went to AK...usually when we get to that park...its always seemed to be the hottest park) so after we spend the day there we always go back to our resort for a swim. Never rained during the 2x we went there. Enjoy
