Help! Need help with sleeping arrangements, 5-grown children +++++
My 5 children and DH used to be fine in a 2-bdrm when kids were young and single. Now they are all over 18 and two are married with babies.
This will be the first trip in many years since about 2000 that the whole crew is coming. My Daughter pulled this off by planning her marrage in Vero. My small family of 5 children and DH now has expanded. Now we have the 5 children over 18, 2 of them will have babies ages 1 and 5 months, along with there mommies, 1 just married couple, and 2 children, my oldest and youngest will still be single (I think). That is a total of 3 couples, 2 with babies, 1 just married. 1 daughter and son, both single DH and me I will have a studio for my Just married couple for at least 4 days after wedding. After that is where I am concerned. So far we have a 1 bedroom and a studio at AKL Concierge starting 5 days after wedding. DH wants him and I to get our own studio somewhere else. So AKL concierge is for the 5 kids +++. Will they all fit? the 1 bedroom holds 5 (sleeper chair and couch bed in living room). Studio is for 4 This is 8 adults and 2 babies. Should I put just married couple in studio with oldest single son or married couple with children. Or should I give Just married the bedroom in the 1-bedroom unit. Where do I put each couple that has baby. Last year I did have 4 in a studio, one couple and 2 sisters. Also considered just getting an extra studio but tight on points and I think all the kids will want to try AKL concierge. I feel very lucky to have the roome that I got. Someone please help me figure this out. Thank Tigger

The word "small" and family of 7 aren't synonomous to me
. Congratulations on all the celebrations in your family - wedding, 2 new babies, getting everyone all together! I agree, having secured the concierge villas is wonderful - you're family will enjoy it immensely. If you really want the newlyweds to have their own room maybe your two single children can sleep with you and your DH in the extra studio you book. Just make sure their names are on the concierge studio reservation or they won't have the concierge room keys to access the lounge. It seems that this is a family vacation more than a honeymoon, though, so perhaps the newlyweds won't care and will take a vacation alone in the future. It is a large group but the fact that the lounge is right there and everyone has the opportunity to spread out there is a bonus. Plus maybe some of your group would want to do one of the special safaris that only the concierge guests can book. Enjoy your trip!

DH is a bit selfish when it comes to us having our own room at Disney. He only comes everyother trip, so I allow it. He also feels the kids are lucky to not have to pay for a room and to stay with us. If it was up to him, everyone would be in a 2 bedroom, us in the master room and everyone else fight amongst themselves to who gets where to sleep. But he goes along with whatever I do as long as we have our own room.
The Just married couple will have there own studio for 4 or 5 nights after wedding, after that they are with the otheres as they want concierge. Since the other married couples never had there own room maybe I should give one of them the master bdroom. Then put just married in living room with 18 yr old sister. The other married couple in studio with older brother. I am also considering if I have enough points to get kids that are single a room at BLT. Neither drink (longe might not appeal to them like it will the otheres) and the monorail being close would be cool. Also, if one of their aunts join us, she could stay with them. Then I could get DH and I a room at AK Jambo and also put our name on Concierge. That way I would have a room key to use the lounge when I baby set. This is our first trip with babies, I am thinking we will need to take turns baby setting so parents can go to the parks some on there own.

AKV studio will hold 4 adults, and the Concierge 1 bedroom will hold 5 adults plus one baby age 2 and under.
Any further discussion related to occupancy must take place on This Thread as per DVC board guidelines. Thank you.
