? about Sunshine Seasons & QS dining......
Can someone answer how this would work...........
If you are on the Quick Service Dining Plan , a dessert is included with your meal. Is there any problem with this at Sunshine Seasons , as you would have to go to 2 stations for the whole meal (entree & then Dessert). I have never eaten there. Always at a place that you get everything all at once. Thanks for the info! ![]()

Sunshine Seasons is one of our favorite CS places!
We ate there twice while we were at Disney World. There is no problem there at all. You go to the station for your entree and then there is a separate dessert station and you can pick anything you want! Their desserts are yummy! Then you get your own drink and then go through a checkout line like at a food court and they take your DDP card.

I think SS has some of the best CS (QS)!. Many of the places have the package chocolate cake or cheesecake.
What we do is get our drink first, then dessert, then our hot entree. That way our food is hot when we sit down and we can drink our soda while waiting (free refills) Also, you have the option of getting an ice cream novelty (Mickey Bar, Itzakadoozie, etc.) after your meal. Tell the cashier and they'll stamp your receipt that you have to return for your dessert within 90 minutes. After you get your ice cream show the cashier the receipt and they'll make a tear in it indicating you picked up your dessert. We ate at SS twice this trip. One of our favorite in park CS. Our favorite CS outside the parks is WPE at DTD. Enjoy!

Another question here ... I'll be holding the (dining plan) card for my family, so what should we do, all meet up together at the register when ready so I can then pay? Sure hope one of us doesn't get their food way before the others, so it won't get cold!

We had the DP last year for the first time, and we went to SS for our first meal. The cashier charged us for a table service meal rather than a counter service meal. Luckily, because I was so paranoid about checking my receipts since the DP was so new to me, I noticed it as soon as we sat down. It took several employees and the manager, but we got it straighted out and changed to CS. It was actually a good lesson for us, because we were very careful to check our receipts the rest of the trip!!
![]() SS was a great value for a CS meal in my opinion!

That should work fine. Just so you know the area where you get your food isn't that huge-your party should have no trouble checking out at the same time. Like my previous post, I rec. getting your drinks, then desserts, then hot foods. Works like a charm!

Does only one card get the dining credits? Our family tends to split up periodically, and I wouldn't want only one of us to have the credits.

You may select any dessert at the bakery counter.

Just a helpful suggestion for organizing the process at counter service/food court places like SS.
We would all check out the menu boards (and of course the baked goods display). After deciding what everyone wanted, DS and DH would get condiments, napkins, etc... and find a table for us. My mom and I would split up (if needed to get everyone's choices if at a food court) and tray two meals each. This made it easier to manage and clearer for the cashier to figure out how many credits we were using. No running back and forth to fulfill the meal plan requirements. We would go through the lines separately to cash out (any adult KTTW card works for everyone on the ressie). We saw a lot of families that were very frustrated at food courts b/c the whole party was trying to coordinate on the fly. This worked great for us. BTW ... SS is our favorite CS, too.

Kid dessert question - SS
What do the kids get for dessert, I remember using a snack credit because DD wanted something from the dessert case, does anyone recall what is offered to the kids as SS?
Thanks. |

I think it was grapes, applesauce and packaged chocolate pudding as part of the kids meal.
