Pandora or Chamillia charm bracelet

My mom;s b'day is in a week & the 3 of us girls were gonna go in on a bracelet. - add charms for each grandkid.

Is there any real diffrence between the brands?

Of the two brands listed, I prefer Chamilia. They have a larger selection of charms to add to your bracelet. They also have nicer looking charms, in my opinion. I personally prefer Troll bracelets and beads. They are so much easier to get your beads on and off, and much easier to get the bracelet on your arm. They use an easier and prettier clasp system, and the biggest variety of beads. I have several Troll bracelets, which I love, and one Chamilia bracelet - because they are the only ones to make Disney beads!! I bought my MIL a Pandora bracelet, and she has issues getting it on and off. We ended up buying her Chamilia sterling beads to put on her Pandora bracelet, because we couldn't find any Pandora sterling beads that we liked!

Due to some great advice from a good friend, I have a Troll bracelet (as do my mother and sister) The best thing about it is that it will take ALL kinds of beads - Troll, Pandora, Chamillia, and others you can find online. The Pandora will only take Pandora beads and certain others (my daughter has one). Troll beads generally do not fit the Pandora bracelets. They have some great beads - check them out online! Pandora and Chamillia do too - I love being able to choose Troll or Pandora beads and I am lucky enough to have places I can buy either kind nearby. Online works great too!

The Pandora is more of a bright, shiny look, where the Troll has a more brushed(?) look (I'm not sure how to describe it). Also, with the Troll, you buy the bracelet and a clasp separately which allows you to pick something plain or fancy, depending on your preference.

Either way you go, it is a great idea and it makes gift giving a snap for birthdays and holidays for years to come! Have fun with it!!!!

Will Chamillia beads fit a Troll bracelet?

I was thinking of getting one for myself as well.

I could only find Pandora around here, but when I look onlinr there are so many I got confused.

She really likes her David Yurman cabel braceltes & there was something about some of these charm bracelets that reminded me of those. Maybe it was the mix of gold & silver or the texture, but I thought they'd go well together.

And the best part is I have a easy go to gift idea for a very hard to shop for person. Just add another bead.

Yes, Chamilia and Pandora beads will fit on a Troll bracelet, but not the other way around. Chamilia and Pandora bracelets have a raised screw on area to load your beads - Troll beads will not fit over this raised area. All beads fit on a Troll bracelet because it is just a silver bracelet that you attach to the clasp of your choice. I prefer the flat clasps - the fish and the rose - the triangular shaped Troll clasps feel funny when wearing them and your arm presses against a hard surface. I personally do not like the way the Chamilia and Pandora clasps work, I much prefer the Troll clasps. Good luck with your decision. I love all my bracelets. The Chamilia beads WILL fit on a Pandora bracelet. I have the Pandora bracelet and once i found the Disney beads from Chamilia, I have been adding those to my bracelet.

Halia is another brand that fits on Pandora.

How does that compare to Chamillia's bangle?



Can Troll beads fit on either of these & vise versa?

I prefer chamilia...I have the flex bangle you showed and I love it. It also comes in a medium and a large size.

By brand they line up as follows

Troll beads most expensive followed by Pandora, Chamilia, Nagara, Halia etc

To be honest I say go for the look of the bracelet you like. I think the troll bead and Pandora bracelet look the best but thats me.

does anyone know how big of a wrist the med and large sizes fit? my sister's wrist is around a 7.5-8" and i wanted to get her one of these with a disney charm for getting into the college program.

Can the pandora beads fit on either the troll or chamillia bangle? That would make a great gift for my sister. She already has a pandora bracelet and a lot of beads.

I started out with a Chamilia bracelet..but I also have a couple of Pandora beads on there. Today I got a Pandora bracelet and will probably end up with some Chamilia charms on that one. The main difference seems to be the threads that are built in on the Pandora-this way you thread the beads onto the part of the bracelet you want them to be and they stay there.

I was told to buy the bracelet a wee bit bigger than you'd think-this way, when it's full, it won't be too tight.

At work this week, we had a jewelry manufacturer come to the hospital. They sell charms and glass beads that fit on Chamilia and Pandora. Their glass beads are stunning, the core is sterling silver and they were $6.00 a piece-which beats the $30+ dollars that the companies charge. I stocked up because I refuse to pay $30 for a glass bead. I use them mainly as filler and to add color.

I have medium sized wrists and my Chamilia is a 7.9 and my Pandora is a 7.5. They encourage you to buy a little bigger than you normally wear, so you have room for charms. I don't like my bracelets to fit snugly, I like a little bit of room.
