Celebrating Birthday

Our sons 5th bday is on the 5th of Dec and so far we cannot get anything earlier than 7:45 @ Chef Mickey's. We are thinking of cancelling this since we got a 5:15 time later in the week. he really wanted to have dinner with Mickey and friends on his bday but I also booked Crystal Palace at an earlier time, is it wrong to have them celebrate his birthday on the 5th at CP and then again on the 8th which is our last night with a good reservation at his choice of restaurant (CM). I feel wrong doing this but the person on the phone told me that its not a problem.

I don't think it is wrong either. You are celebrating his actual birthday on the 5th and having his birthday dinner on the 8th. They only decorated the table and bring a cupcake (unless you order a cake) it is not a big deal.

Have fun and relax. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks only you!

I think you would be fine.

I tried to book for my dd's birthday but was unsuccessful. But I got CP before the park opened and she is pleased as punch to have that. Plus, I have noted on the calendar that she wants to go to Olive Garden like she did last year anyway. We're just going for the day,so we may hit that on the way home.

I can think of millions of reasons why people do not have their birthday celebrations on their actual day all over the world and you are not sinning or breaking any law or rules by having your sons b-day dinner with Mickey when Mickey is available to celebrate with your son.
