Since you're in Mt Shasta are you flying out of Medford or Redding ...or are you guys just going to drive it?

Thanks much on the designs Playing with stuff like that really helps me pass the time and keep in a Disney frame of mind
We drive the whole way. It usually takes about 10 hours for us, depending on traffic. If I can time things right, we can do it in 9 1/2. We try to leave early enough for the kiddos to sleep most of the way so that we can minimize stops. I see you are in Oregon... where at?

And unfortunately, taking my laptop is more of a necessity than a leisure thing. Both DH and I are taking a full load of online courses right now, so we have to check in for homework!

I want to try to minimize my time online though, because the Anaheim Plaza (where we are staying) charges and additional $10/day for internet. Over the course of a week, that can add up to the cost of a few churros and dole whips!

Ohhh, we know that drive. We live in Grants Pass and my best time was our last trip back in 2005 - made it in 11 1/2hrs Oh yes, the more time the kiddos can sleep, the better.

Oh fun, good luck with the coursework. I don't tend to have the focus for online coursework. I'm taking classes here and there for a bachelor's at SOU but it is hard to handle with work and all the family stuff going on

Yeah, we're staying at DLH (first and probably only time) and they charge for internet. But if my work calls and I have to go online to troubleshoot something they get to pick up the tab

Disneyland, DH and my horses have a soothing effect on my soul, and always brings a smile on my face.

Subscribing. I can't wait to hear all the reports. Of course, it will drive me crazy, since I won't going until the end of the month! I will bring my computer and do a TR, too, with pictures. Much like what I did for the opening of the Villas at the Grand Californian.

Just got back from 5 days in the parks(sept.25-30th) and had blast. Loved all of the halloween decorations and attractions, ghost galaxy blew me away, saw halloween screams fireworks twice which far exceeded my expections, they played a "Grim ginning ghosts" remix during the show that I am determined to find for my ipod haha.

Other then then that did the normal tour of the parks, saw fantasmic with GREAT seats. We somehow got dead center front row for the second the showing, it was cramped but well worth it.

Anyways it was a great trip, more detailed report and a ton of pics and food porn in mine and disneynerd420s actual report

great t shirts, i think you could sell them, there seems to be a market for them. Go try it on ebay or etsy!

Chris.. pics we want some pics here, por favor!

disneynerd420.. post a few pics here!! we are trying to build a group trip report and you always have great insight!

we are driving out there.. and flying back. it's a 13 hour drive for us. I like road trips, so i don't mind. And we actually had already booked round trip tickets but then my mom's party bags grew and grew and grew so we are driving. I was worried if i shipped the boxes one might get lost and some of the guests wouldn't have their surprises..so we are driving! It's not so easy having a party for 30 several states away

I am really looking forward to this trip! I can't wait I can't wait. My mom is like a little girl at disneyland

Finally got myself over to this thread! I'm so excited. We leave 2 weeks from yesterday, and I'm at the point where I have a lot to do, but it's too early to do it.

I'm still deciding if I want to do a separate TR or if I just want to post a few pics and thought here. We'll see.

DH is working on our shirts right now for the reunion and they are so cute. And he is way proud of himself. Who knew he was so handy with an iron? Our camera has disappeared, but when DH brings home his from work, I will definitely put up a pic. The previously posted Tie-Dye ones are so cute!

Can't wait to see everyone else's contributions to this thread!

Amy

Hey everyone!!! We're home..... but we had a great time. I have TONS AND TONS of pics, so I will try to sort through them and get something up today. The Halloween decorations were great, the weather was nice, but the crowds on Fri & Sat were insane!!! I will try to answer any questions if you guys have some. Stay tuned for pics!

I fell in love with DLR, whats not to love. Fantasyland, Toontown, Nemo and so much more. Both parks and DTD are full of little Disney touches that make it truly Walt's park. Mickey Pretzels, Mickey Gingerbreads, Mickey pancaks. Yummy. It is truly th
