BLT...hold the Lake View - The DIS Discussion Forums

RachelTori and I arrived today...getting ready for F & W...check in was a bit unorganized..no online check in area...I should have check the CR thread..lol

They had no record of it in their system....no problems...didnt bother us, took awhile to check in, we are just happy to be here for our Ladies trip.

I booked a 2 BDR LV villa on points, asked her btw, what floor are we on...(room wasnt ready yet....)

CM replies, on the 12th floor, oh and you were upgraded to a MK VIEW...is that ok???

hmmm..let us think abt that for a minute.......

Our room was ready at 3 pm....we have a full on view of Cinderella Castle, Space Mtn, GF...will try and post pics later.

We are off to open up the TOTW lounge at 5 pm...then off to the Wave for dinner

We enjoyed the TOTW lounge, no one else was in there for awhile...great CM's!!

Had an awesome meal at the Wave..returned to the TOTW lounge for fireworks, and then saw the finale in our room.

Really enjoying CR and BLT!!

Our ME bus driver had a dumbfounded look when we told him "Bay Lake Tower".....lol

We really enjoyed the private escort to the elevator to access the lounge....not CL....lol...but nice perk

Hoping to get pics up...been up since abt 3 am...my flight left Chicago at 6 this morning

Thanks to everyone as well who has posted comments as well!

Just wanted to share our experience of being fortunate enough to have had some pixie dust sprinkled on us....

I do believe the fact that we only had a one night reservation made a differance! lol
We have thoroughly enjoyed this visit...we have stayed in the MK resorts area, visited the other resorts...and just enjoyed BLT!

For those considering....accomodations are wonderful....cant speak for the studio, as I have not stayed in one, however, the design seems inadequate for more than 2 guests.....

I have to stay, this has been a dream come true.....to have the experience of laying in bed, and viewing the castle change colors, seeing the monorail on its way into CR, the lagoon, GF...amazing!!!
Now I get it all you CR lovers
