Hi Girls.

Just stopping by to say "Hi!". I'm freezing cold - it's 61 here! I'm in a funky baking mood, which is odd for me. I've got banana bread planned this morning and then when the kids get home we'll make chocolate chip cookies.

Happy Thanksgiving, Lessa.

So glad you and B are ok, Dawn. You're both very lucky.

Enjoy your snow, Jen!

Cute pic, Janet. We were watching the game last night thinking of you. We don't want the Phillies to play the Dodgers, so we were rootin' Colorado on!

Hi CE, Jo, & Tracy!

Later homies!

Heck, we've climbed 20 degrees since the bus and it's 53 here... Not too different!

One kid is playing with one neighbor and the other another, and so I'm more or less alone in the house.

That's cause when we beat the Rockies, we will then spank the Dodgers

Sure, it was really good – IF you like apples as you’ll see! I’ll post it when I get home (because I printed the recipe out at work and forgot what site I got it from (do you see a pattern here????)

I feel your pain! I always say there is nothing scarier than your kid learning to drive. I don’t think you ever get over it ?! My daughter has been driving for over 4 years now and I’m still a nervous Nellie about it – and she’s a good driver! Good luck!

T--I'm cold here too--it's in the 50s--residents at my nursing home were cold too...so they all turned the heat WAY up----and it was then too hot!

I had no kids to pick up......so I worked later......sniff sniff....at least all the pets are here!

New kitty Boots is doing good! He's purring a lot more and eating a LOT. Going to vet in am.

Hi, all!

I read, but didn't quote, sorry.

The eye doctor went well enough. Woody's fine - no surprise there. Buzz is slightly farsighted, but not enough to need a prescription at this point. We're just to watch and see if he starts to look like he needs more help with reading/homework vision.

I made tomato soup and grilled cheese for dinner, which was perfect for a chilly night, and now the kids need to head for bed.

Hi Focker Friends!

TE does indeed have a petting zoo.

JANET is a snack bar mom. She posted a cute pic of the Jims at #585.
I'm sorry about your hearing in the one ear. I hope they can find what is wrong and fix it. Great picture.

T took the scouts to a farm to pick veggies and pumpkins. Maddie did her first sleep-over. Guess who was more nervous about it? T said DL was crowded on Sunday. She reports a chilly 61 degrees.
Yep I'd be one of those peeps wearing shorts.

Hi CEL BEL and ROSIE!!!

JO had a lazy morning the other day. She went with David to watch the stags rut. It was not happening yet.
Since you asked, our trip is now scheduled for December 6th to December 12th. Doug has been bow hunting. Like someone else said, the squirrels like him.

KAT got hit in the head with a heavy duty clothes rack at WoD. She and KC had another round of therapy.
OUCH!!! I'm glad you are OK. I bet a few choice words escaped your lips. I hope you and KC keep heading in a positive direction. What happened to the security job?

DENISE - The roast sounded wonderful. Oh, and the rum cake. I wish I lived closer.

DAWN and Bailey were in a wreck! They went to the ER and Dawn says they are OK.
Oh Dawn, I am so sorry. I do hope that you and B are OK today too!!!

ANGELA will be an aunt a second time around!!!!
Great news!!!

JV made a pinata in her jammies the other day. She is reporting snow. The kids are on fall break.
You are too funny. Keep the snow please. I am so dreading it.

CE got her hair cut again. It's bobbed. She didn't like the last cut very much. She said the kids only had a half day of school.
I never seem to be able to get a hair stylist that can do it like a picture either. I keep trying though.

Hey RACHEL!!!!!

################################################## ##############
We got some big stuff happening here at work. I can't say anything. It's top secret. If I tell you all, I'd have to hunt you down and shoot ya'. Not really, however, it may hinder my ability to chat very much over the next 2-3 weeks. Go figure. I'll di-vulge everything when it all has become concrete.

As you may have seen above. Rockie and I are doing the BFF trip Dec 6 - Dec 12. I had no issues with changing it. I can't remember if I told you, but we are staying at CBR in a pirate room. Isn't that just too funny! That's what they had available. It cost us an extra $145. No biggy.

I also rebooked our flight with SW. I had to pay extra for the flight back. Then the system had a brain malfunction and ended up charging me twice. SW fixed it promptly.

I also exchanged our MNSSHP tix for MVMCP tix. We are going to the Christmas party on Tue, Dec. 8th. I'm hoping it won't be too crowded.

My ADRs are at 50s PTC, Tutto Italia, Shutters, Kona and Cape May for the character breakfast. We are going to Beaches and Cream one evening for dinner too. I wanted Le Cellier and Donald's breakfast. NO WAY! Maybe next time.

I've been working on a new itinerary for the week. I'll talk about it later. I think this will be a great trip with all the Christmas decor and music. We need something like this after all we've been through. Disney at it's magical most, what could be better???

I'll be back as soon as I can. Hugs to all of you!
