Fireworks view from cat 3 8532 - The DIS Discussion Forums

Can anyone please tell me if there is a good view of the Fireworks (Pirate Night) from the balcony of Stateroom 8532 (Midship Cat 3)?

to be honest it really doesn't matter. You're not allowed out on your stateroom balcony during the show. They place the notice in your room the evening before.

Deck 9 overhangs quite a bit so your view is obstructed. You can see some of them but not what I would call a good view.

I don't recall getting notes to stay off verandah during fireworks. We have been in 8516 8530 8532 which are all midship or forward. Do they prohibit being out there on all starboard cabins of just those aft near where they shoot them off?

We were next door in 8530 on our December cruise and it was not a good place to see the fireworks because Deck 9 juts out too far. You could see some of the fireworks, but not all. We'd been told it was a good place, so some of our friends came to hang out on the verandah with us, and we were all disappointed.
