Anyone stay in stateroom 6040 on the Wonder?

This is our room for the May 3 Alaska? Can anyone comment on the location and what you thought. We have never stayed in this high of a category so I would love some info!

No, in 10 years no one has ever stayed in this cabin. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I was in 6030...a few doors down. It was a very nice cabin. You'll like the balcony. I liked the location, but then I find something to ask about wherever I am on the ship. Is there something specific you want to know?

LOL that was awesome!

I always stay in an inside cabin until this last cruise when we got upgraded to deluxe ocean view! it was great and I did not have to pay! We really felt like w/Alaska we would be crazy not to spend the extra for the verandah.

I just want to hear someone say: Great Local! OMG your going to love it, worth every penny blah blah blah!

Thats it!

Here's the downside....you'll be totally spoiled. After enjoying your balcony you'll never want inside again (at least my teen doesn't).

The mom books inside cabins for herself to save money and the kid, when told that mom just booked her a cruise to Europe says, "Well, do we at least have a window? Maybe a balcony, please???"

Yes, you do have a great location...and you're cruising to Alaska...and you will totally love it!

We stayed in this cabin for our first two cruises ... Wonder first then Magic. Love the cabin, nice location for kids clubs. Mid-ship elevators tend to be busy and because you are in the middle a lot of foot traffic. Especially on our second cruise we has a lot of running kids in the halls, all in all would recommend the cabin.

The primary problem with America is stupidity. Maybe we should just take all the warning labels off and let the problem solve itself.

We were in 6042 on the Magic. We totally loved this room, and will try for it again next cruise. We did not have excessive foot traffic, running in the halls, etc. We loved using the forward elevators when going to the shows, theater, etc. The mid-ship stairs were very convenient to take the kids to the clubs, and the mid-ship elevators for the restaurants and Deck 9. We never had to many people at the elevators except when going into port... then they got busy quick. We spent a lot of time sitting on the verandah, enjoying the view and the sound of the ocean... it was quiet enough that we could hear the waves instead of Deck 9!

Hope you like it as much as we did!

We just did 7 nights on the magic in 6036 so a couple of doors down. I thought that it was convenient for both forward and mid elevators/stairs. We had no problems with running in the halls or noise.

I spent so much time on the balcony, it was our first and LOVED it. You will have afternoon sun on the way north then morning sun on the way back south. Enjoy!
