Palo question - combining reservations - The DIS Discussion Forums

My DW and I have a Palo dinner reservation for 2. A couple that we met on our last cruise have a Palo dinner reservation for 2 on the same night and time. Upon embarkation, we intend to go to Rockin Bar D and attempt to combine the 2 reservations from 2 tables for 2 to 1 table for 4.

Questions: Do both parties (only just 1) need to go to Rockin Bar D to try to get this changed? Has anyone had success in attempting to do something similar? Thanks in advance.

BTW its for a 7 day Western in November.

No problem with combining. I would send one person from each party, just so there's no question that one group is trying to join the other without their permission. And you are right that the place to do it is RockinBar D after boarding--but do check the Welcome Aboard navigator. We've been on a couple of cruises where it was in a different location.

They tend to be pretty protective of things in Palo to keep the atmosphere and service wonderful.
