More Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique questions...

I have made an appointment at the BBB for my daughter on Oct. 22nd (it's going to be a huge surprise...she has NO idea!), but I'm not quite sure how it all works. I'm hoping you all can help answer some of my questions!

1. I know she'll want the Disney Diva hairstyle, but she has quite dirty blonde hair. I've seen the light blonde (too light for her) and the light brown (too dark for her) hairpieces. But do they also sell dirty blonde hair extensions there too?

2. Do they still give out those special BBB birthday sashes? Or is that just at WDW?

3. When I made the reservation, I didn't know which princess she'd want to be when they asked me. Now I know she wants to be Sleeping Beauty. Should I call them back to let them know (so they can reserve her style/sizes...if they even do that)...or not bother and just let them know when we go in for our appointment?

4. What happens when we first go in there? Do we pick out everything we need (shoes, wands, etc.) or do we just tell them what we want and they pick it out?

5. I already bought her dress and tiara from the Disney Store, so now I just need the Crown package (plus the shoes and wand). Can I still get the imaging package though?

6. With the imaging package, what is included? If you are planning on just having them put ALL the pictures right on your PhotoPass (so I can print them out at home), do I have to pay anything for the BBB imaging package (since I'll already be buying the PhotoPass CD)?

Sorry for the million questions! I just want to make this the best surprise ever for my little birthday girl!

Thank you!

The hair piece is part of the package and they have a nice selection to choose from. (I did that one too...I got a really pretty jewel ring as well)

Yes they do...I got one a couple weeks ago when I was there.

We added the photo package when we got there without a problem.

The photopass CD purchase is totally separate from the photo shoot at the BBB. The photo package does cost around $30.I don't know if they will do the photo shoot without purchasing the package. They do put all the pictures on the photopass and pick out the ones they feel are the best and present you with the prints (1 8x10, 2 4x6 from 2 diff poses). They also take pictures while the makeover is happening too, we got some really great shots from that.

1- They have different colored hair pieces available, I'm sure they will have one that matches your DD. They had no problems matching my DDs and she's got every color possible in her hair. lol

2- I got a bday sash when we went in May. The girls did too but mine said bday Princess on it, or something similar.

3- They didn't ask me who we wanted to be when I made our reservations, and when we got there they asked us to pick a hairstyle, then we picked our jewels (rings), then we picked our makeup from a little palette, so it didn't seem to matter "who" you wanted to be at all. I wouldn't worry about it, just let them know what she's looking for when you get there.

4- I believe you pick out what you want, if you're running a bit behind for your appt then maybe they will bring you choices but I don't know, we didn't dress up, we just got made up.

5- You can get the photo package with ANY BBB package, we had the crown packages and we had our pictures done.

6- If you don't purchase the $30 photo package (and ask about discounts, as a Premium AP holder we received a discount off our total makeover experience) you won't have photos taken. They will take photos while you're being madeover and add them to your photopass card BUT if you want the photos with the woodland animals and carriage you have to do that seperately and pay $30. They will give you 3 different poses and add them to your PP card as well as give you prints right then. I highly suggest the photo package, DD9 was THRILLED that we got to sit in Cinderella's carriage, that was the highlight for her. The photos came out really good too, and we will always have that reminder of our Mommy/Daughter makeovers.

APs expired 1-3-2010, the girls are still good until 2-6-2010 but we have no plans for a visit before they expire. No plans for our next visit, it will be 2011 or 2012 before we head back. We've had fun DLR/DCA, we will miss you while we are gone. We took 14 trips from July 07-July 08 and around 16 from Jan 09-Jan 10.

Yes, I was done at the same time as my girls. I had the same package they did, we all did the Crown package (I think it was the Crown) and I had my hair and makeup done.

My DD had the Crown Package done on 9/23 for her birthday. Her birthday fun card paid for it - NICE! I brought her dress, shoes, crown, wand - and she changed into it first thing. And yes, they do a birthday sash! There will be a photographer there to take pictures on your Photopass during the whole thing, too.

I called 714 781 7895, picked it up from the Disneyland website. Somehow that brought be to the central phone line of Disneyland though, and they connected me to the "Disney Style line."

You best call and ask, I really have no idea how popular appointments are. I made mine for November 6 today.

Package info can be found here: http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disn...ueShoppingPage

You're welcome.

I'm glad you got an appointment. I was quite nervous about getting one myself, so I called right at the 30 days mark.

I called the week before we went and had no problems getting 3 appts right around the same time. I had 1 at 9, 1 at 9:10, 1 at 9:20 but when we showed up at 9:05 (had to stop for a pin trade LOL) they took us all back together.

Does anyone know how much the dresses cost? I think dd3 wants to be tink, but she has been known to change her mind. I wanted to buy online if cheaper, but maybe I should wait and let her choose who she wants to be when we get there? Did I see that right that the big package is around 200$. DD10 will be getting just hair, makeup and nails, I'd like to do that for DD3 also, plus a dress, but we don't need shoes or a wand. I'd also like to add on the photo package. Wondering if the dresses are that expensive, $200 seems like much more than just adding together $30 for pictures and a dress, etc. to the hair/makeup/nail package.
