Since your a big kid at heart, I am assuming you like characters. My suggestion would be Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends. My DH and I were just there a few weeks ago celebrating our anniversay and we got a nice certificate signed by Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger. By the way, when I made the ADR I let them know that it was our anniversary. We were not expecting anything, but it was nice. O'hana's did the same thing for breakfast.
Happy early Birthday and enjoy your trip!

Hi- Happy Birthday!! How about a character meal- it's fun for us big kids, too! We love the Garden Grill. It's quiet because you sit while the all u can eat food comes to you. No worries about missing characters. We love to see the land ride below. The characters here- Mickey, Pluto, Chip, Dale are fun for all ages. Even our teenage boys have fun here! You could also do Narcoossees at the Grand Floridian and plan it later during Wishes. They pipe in the musioc and you have a wonderful view over the lagoon.

Since you are looking for a restaurant suggestion, I'm going to move this over to the restaurant board. Have a great birthday!

For a regular sit down meal I would suggest Cali Grill. The food and atmosphere is awesome. My DH and I ate there on our anniversary and our table was decorated in confetti and streamers. We got a card signed by the whole waitstaff plus we were brought out a huge piece of chocolate cake that said Happy anniversary on it....it was delicious. You could go early (to make sure you have a window seat facing MK) then later on when Wishes is about to start, you can head back up there, get a drink from the bar, then head outside to watch Wishes....Awesome!!!.
Now, I too am a big kid at heart and I love the character meals. I would suggest either Chef Mickey's or dining in the castle. Chef Mickey's is fun, but loud, and they always do something special for occasions. And dining in the castle is just so special....I mean who doesn't like eating at Cinderella's Castle? What ever you choose will be fine, and have a Happy Birthday. |

For a character meal CP (great character interaction and great food selection), for a nice dinning Citricos (great food and nice and quite place), Jiko (great food and a little different) and after eating at Jiko walk around AKL and see the animals, enjoy a nightly storytime at the fire pit and followed with a musical parade at the lobby (all ages loves this one). Hope this helps...another one is 1900 Park Fare (food was not great but we had one of the best character memories...the step sisters are a ball and funny)
