SW Early Bird Check In and 36 Hour Mark
No sure if I am understanding this correctly, but I think I am reading that SW will assign your boarding order if you purchased Early Bird Check In at the 36 hour mark prior to your flight. I am not sure if this means I can view my boarding assignment on their site at that time and then I still have to wait for the 24 hour mark to print the boarding pass. Can anyone tell me the procedure? Will I be able to view my boarding assignment prior to the 24 hour mark of printing my passes?

You don't do anything at 36 hours....SW is checking you in and assigning your position. You can still go online between 24 hours and 1 hour before your flight and view/print your boarding passes. Or just wait until you get to the airport. But you do not need to be lurking at your computer exactly at 24 hours...that is the convenience of this option.
(I would be curious what I got, so I'd be checking in sometime after 24 hours just so I know.)

Thanks. The 36 hours thing had me confused.
I will be printing my passes at the 24 hour mark so I know what I got too! |

But the nice thing is....if you have something else to do---kids distract you, phone call, taking a shower, sleeping...you don't HAVE to be at your computer at 24 hours. Your spot will be locked in before then. I think that is why this convenience will be worth it for people's return trips from WDW...so they don't have to stop park touring and check in.
