American Idol Experience finale

Has anyone attended the AIE final show when HS closes at 7 pm? The info I've found so far gives 7 pm for the last AIE show. Is the finale time always the same no matter what time the park closes? How long does the final show last?

I'm trying to plan a dinner ADR. I feel that dining before will be too rushed if we need to line up too early for the show. After is going to get late though when including any travel time.

Maybe it's a good day to have a sit down meal for lunch and counter service for dinner.

Thanks!

The shows are 25 minutes long. The AIE schedule does not change with park closing times. However, when I was there last week, there were two days (Fri and Sat) when the finale was at 6pm, with one less show being performed on those days. So the schedule can change from time to time.

Though you are probably safe in assuming that there will be a 7pm finale.

My daughter auditioned and won the 11 am show and performed in the finale. The shows througout the day feature three singers, during the summer they had 7 shows, so 7 sang in the finale, if they have less shows during the day, there will be less singers. The shows during the day are about 25 minutes, the finale took about 45 minutes. With less singers, slightly less time. Each singer sings a sortened version of the song and has time with the judges. Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot to both of you!! Knowing now that there probably will be a 7 pm finale and that it lasts 45 minutes really helps me plan what I want to do.

And congratulations to your daughter on her win at the early show and performing in the finalle!!! How exciting for all of you!!

And to see the finale you must be getting in line at least 30 minutes prior... enter the queue after they re-open it following the last regular show... get in there if the open queueing area looks full as they don't take too many after that fills up.

Thanks for letting me know about getting in the queue line early, too!! Maybe I will make sure I'm in the area by 6:15 or so in case it's a busy night and many want to go. I wouldn't want to miss the show after giving up my adr.
