Smile mailing postcards from disney to canada

I feel a little funny asking this question but I don't want to ask DH!

Anyway, I actually have postcards from last time so I was going to address them before I leave and get stamps but I wasn't sure what stamps I get.

If I put american stamps on them will they get to the person I'm sending it to? Are there mail boxes at the resorts?

Thanks

I mailed postcards to Canada last year while there. Got the stamps at the resort store and @ the Movies resort the mailbox was located by the pay phoes in the lobby...they made it to everyone I sent them out to.

You need to put an international stamp on it. You can buy it at the gift shop. Yes there are mail boxes at the resorts.

If it's being posted in the US, you need to put US stamps on them. Stamps are usually available in the gift shops in the resorts. And any resort I've seen has post boxes where you can send the postcards. Usually takes about 2 weeks to get back to Canada.

Just a quick note to say - if you are sending postcards, you should ask for the International Postcard stamps. Apparently the USPS has a different rate (cheaper) for postcards than standard letter mail. A kindly CM let me know this on our last trip when I was doing the FGM postcards, and it was nice of him to help me save a few extra pennies

Not according to the USPS website.

Postcard rate to Canada $0.75
Letter rate to Canada starts at $0.75

Guess the new USPS rates that went into effect this year screwed up the cheap postcards to Canada
