Southwest and Early bird check in???

Hi All-

We signed up for EBCI and I was wondering if anyone who has used it can tell me if we need to be on the computer 36hrs in advance to check in or they just email us with the boarding assignments??

Also, can anyone who has used this service tell me what boarding assignments they received?? Just curious as to how it is all working out!

TIA!

Early reports in the 35 page long thread about this topic have been showing people getting good A passes..... it will be interesting to see how things play out as more people get wind of the procedure.....

You do not need to be on the computer at all really. One of the selling points of EBCI is that you don't have to be on the computer at a set time. However, they do not e-mail you your boarding assignment. You can print your already assigned boarding passes at any time after the 24 hr mark. You can do it from home, at a park or resort for your return flight, at RAC or even wait until you get to the airport. Since your boarding pass has already been assigned, it doesn't make any difference when you do it.

If you scroll down this forum, there is a HUGE thread on the subject of EBCI.

Thank you! I saw that thread after I posted!

It will be interesting to see as time goes on what happens. Hopefully it'll be a benefit for us!
