Check In Online - Better Deal Comes Along?

I always book my own WDW resort rooms and I always find a code or some other deal after first booking and drop the old and book the new. I started with the AAA for POP and switched to a code at Pop for less. I understand that I can check in online up to 10 days in advance, but if I did, wouldn't that lock me in to that rate? What if I checked in 10 days out and 2 days later a better code came out? Anybody know? Thanks in advance.

I sort of doubt that anything would become available inside of the 10 day mark. Most of the promotions are offered well in advance.

That's probably right, but I posted earlier asking if anyone ever got a code within 30 days and no one replied that they did. There's probably no advantage to NOT waiting until the day before so I'll probably hold out until then. We're at 26 days 18 hrs. 54 mins. 10 secs. now.
