Im soooooooo Excited!!!!! - The DIS Discussion Forums

So my heart is fluttering, my mind is racing, and I am filled with a joyful happiness and you want to know why??????
Because after a long time and what seemed like forever we are finally getting back to DL!!!!!!!
I know I probably sound silly but I just know everyone here will understand how happy I am and I just have to share with those that share the same passion as I for DL!!!!!!!
There is nothing in the world like Disney to me and I love that even as an adult I can make myself feel like I have escaped the world to my childhood fantasy simply by just going to DL!!! For however long I am there I always forget what is happening in my "real life" and I am deep into a world of forever smiles, joy, and laughter!!!!

I think what is going to make this trip so memorable for me is the fact that our new family members (our 5 and 6 year old nephews) whom we now have legal guardianship of will be coming with us and this will be their 1st visit ever!!!
It took us awhile after getting them settled into our home and lives and paying for attorney fees and what not that came along with them joining our family to save up to be able to go again!!!! It just feels so good that we are going back to DL our "home" and that we will not only get to feel like children ourselves but we will get to once again experience it through the eyes of the boys and witness the looks of wonder and see the joy bursting through them as they experience the most magical place ever!!!!
My little guys deserve a trip like this so much after what they have been through in their short lives and that makes it even all the more better!!!!

I can't stop thinking about the things we will do with them or trying to imagine what the expression will be like on their little faces as they experience things they may have never dreamed of before.
I know for most children DL on a 1st visit would be a dream moment but I feel that due to what our guys have been through and the sadness they have experienced in their short lives that this is going to open up their eyes and show them that there is fun, there is hope, there is happiness, there is love, there is innocence, and most of all that there is such a thing as childhood!!!

Out of the many trips I have had the pleasure of taking to DL over my years of living this will be I think one of the most memorable ones that will hold a place close to my heart and give my family and I some memories that will be precious and life lasting!!!!

Thanks for letting me share my happiness with you all!!!!

And last but NEVER least!!!!!!!!! DL HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!

That's is do exciting for you. We don't have children but delight in all the kids excitment. Nothing like a child being tall enough for TMR. Have a great trip, we will be there the week after. Can't wait.

Thank you all so much for the well wishes. I am sure we will have the most wonderful time ever.
I will do a TR when we get back with pics so that you all can see the happy smiling faces of the boys and of course us as well.
I am so excited and can't wait to share the experience with you all.
All I talked about today with the boys was DL and all the things we are going to do there and they can't wait and have a count down going.
