Shutter’s at Old Port Royale

We had ADRs at Tony’s for this night, but MK was CROWDED. We decided a better use of time was the CBR themed pool and dinner at Shutters. It was good, but we couldn’t finish the dessert after 8 days of DDP. We were able to get a last minute ADR without a problem.

Kid’s pizza


Tuna – medium well (sorry to chefs and other rare tuna lovers). When I ordered it medium-well, the waitress said “are you sure you want tuna?”  I thought it was good.
Served with Shutter’s potatoes (mashed sweet potato) and vegetarian black beans with rice.


DH steak (I think it was NY strip). Also served with vegetarian black beans with rice and Shutter’s potatoes

I can't believe we forgot to take photos of Yak & Yeti, it was so good, maybe that is why we forgot !! Great service & beautiful restaurant. I had the Mahi-Mahi & the mango pie, it was GREAT !!! I think we have lots of photos on this thread of both of these items!!

I could never find a photo of this on the boards, so here it is of the Wood Grilled Tuna - basted with sun-dried tomato pesto over a Puttanesca Ragout $19.99- They ask you how you want the tuna cooked, I said "well done" & it was awesome, this is after I had already cut it up & then remembered to take a photo. This was at Mama Melrose at Disney Hollywood Studios...



Warm Chocolate Truffle Cake $5.99- with no raspberry sauce, my son does not like raspberry.



Honey Hazelnut and Ricotta Cheesecake $5.99



This is Kona Cafe for lunch- I had the Big Island Tacos - served in a House-made shell with pasta salad and green papaya slaw:
Fish Taco - Seared Talapia with tomato salsa and mango mayonnaise $13.99
These were AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!



For dessert at Kona Cafe--

Coconut Cream Kiki Tart - served with raspberries and lychees $5.49

This is at the Morocco restaurant at Epcot, this was also awesome !!! It had black olives, potatoes, stewed tomatoes, yellow & red peppers, & carrots & of course the fish!!! It was soooo good !!!! The restaurant is called the Marrakesh & this was at dinner time, my son LOVED the entertainment (the belly dancer).

Mogador Fish Tagine - marinated fish with olives, lemon confit, potatoes, green peppers, and shermula sauce $27.95



For dessert--
Bastilla - crispy leaves of pastry topped with vanilla cream and sprinkled with toasted almonds



As you can see, I love fish & I hope you enjoy the photos !!

Also, those little desserts you get at the counter service restaurants are REALLY good. The carrot cake & the chocolate cakes were so fresh, moist, & YUMMY !!! We got these at Cosmic Rays's in Magic Kingdom.
