Just did my Christmas shopping at Walmart.com with free site to store ship!

Postponed the trip until next year, so instead I just went Christmas shopping from the comfort of my own chair.

I bought a Step 2 kitchen bundle for DD who turns 2 in Dec. The bundle includes the kitchen, an accessory kit, and a large plastic food assortment. I thought $100 was reasonable for this when the kitchen alone costs $98.00.

Got a WII I only got the console and whatever comes with that and an extra bonus game ($249). I decided against getting a larger bundle as DS 8 and DS 5 can wait to get some of those things with either gift card money or for their b-days. I didn't think it was necessary to start out right away with everything. And the bonus games that they were offering wasn't anything that I wanted. I also ordered Mario Kart.

I had previously ordered Toy Story Mania from Amazon.

I think we are all set for Christmas. Just little stocking stuffers left to get and I usually buy those on Black Friday. Hopefully some good movies will be on the ad for Walmart's BF specials. And Santa always brings a kid bathtub set, but then I start cursing Santa when the foam starts flying all over the bathroom. When will he learn???

And I can go and pick these up when the kiddos are at school and they'll have no clue... I love Walmart's free Site to Store shipping.

That is fantastic! Good for you getting it done so early.

I started my Christmas shopping last weekend. I don't have children, so it's a little different.... I'm able to spend a whole weekend with DH shopping at the outlets, but the flip side is we don't have any kiddos to shop for. This year I'm super excited. I have a new foster-brother who is 28, but handicapped so he has the mind of a 8-year-old. I'm having fun picking up toys and things for him.

Anyway, great call with the Wii. The games is comes with are a lot of fun. I wonder if people will have a problem getting Wii's this Christmas. You were smart to get it in advance. You have some lucky kids!

Don't forget that Wii only comes with one Wii remote....I don't even remember if it comes with a nunchuk ( I think that's what it's called. I never play wii). Maybe you got a bundle that comes with 2 remotes, but I would definitely make sure you have at least 2 remotes and 2 nunchuks for Christmas morning. If you have 3 children it may make for some unnecessary drama if they have to take turns....I'm all for sharing but new toys are difficult.

It did come with one remote and one nunchuk. To get another set it is $50.00. I'm hoping that grandma and grandpa ask what to get the boys for Christmas and they can get that for them. I've spent enough for today. I just have to make sure that somebody is going to get it for them, otherwise it will be a dog fight.

When I drink I find its easier to watch my children because I see all 3 of them double, so all 6 of them of them take all my attention

I don't know if you ever shop ebay but you can find remotes and nunchuk sets there pretty cheap.

Good for you! I have started already also. Got both DD a tag system one regular and one jr. Plus some other things. I still need to get them a bigger gift each. I'm almost done them and then will get the adults done.

word of caution be sure to only buy real Nintendo accessories, we learned our lesson with the gamecube! they may be a little more but well worth it, the only exception is SD cards and any SD card will work.

I just read on slickdeals today that the wii price is scheduled to drop to $200 on 9/27. I am hoping this is the case - I have a $100 dell gift card from buying my laptop - that will be our BIG gift this year Oh, and a WDW trip!

I've got about half of my Christmas shopping for the kids done... mostly ordered from Amazon. I love the convenience of free shipping!

I have also started my Christmas Shopping. I have bought some Croc Mammoths from Cabelas and I bought Disney PJ's to go with them for my niece's. It's so nice being able to have the items shipped to the resort. We can't get any of the Disney Store items shipped up here.

My niece's are now finished, I think- I know I picked up some stocking stuffers for them. Might have to get a few more things.

I should have my family (mom, dad, sisters, BIL's ) do our Christmas draw before I leave in 10 days, then I know who I have to buy for.

I was JUST thinking about Christmas shopping this morning. We are going to WDW in Jan so I was considering what low budget gifts I might get my kids. I am thinking it will be a books and games year this year. Last year both boys got DSLites so that was a bit pricey. This year, the budget is going to be lower. My other browser window is open to the TRU sale flyer.
