I had a really nice weekend off cleaning

But my house looks so much better now, so it was time well spent. Now to keep up Flylady style!

My List for Today:

LOL! Debbie ~ Beer Butt Chicken!!! Oh the visual!!!

I got a lot done over the weekend...

Need to do the following:

up
make bed
make lunches
empty dishwasher
DS8 up, morning routine
fluff fold & put away last load of laundry ( I just know I'll get side tracked tonight; never fails)
email Secretary @ HS over info received this week on DsS15... Is he on the homecoming court for freshman or not... so that he can be available to ride in the parade if in fact he is on the court.. also, discuss hanging chads for DD... (no, nothing about DD will be said...)
elem kids on bus
DH webcam/conference call for work @ 7AM
older kids up, routine
make beds x 4
older kids out the door, DH to follow
ck email/DIS
make sure DS13 pulled soccer uniform for game tonight
finish DHS elements going to work on these shortly
finish Club Cool
photos of above; post on T'n't thread
start cutting and assembling Gettin' Autograph set
pick up Nate @ 1030am
lunch
complete GA set
program TV to watch GL (5 days left...

)
get dinner started to warm after game
sketch France Set (have my ideas.. I hope they work ~ not going to use normal colors but more of an export they are known for)

everyone home for dinner
go to friend's house to tutor son in Algebra
list for DH to complete of bedtime routine w/ kids (because kids will try to get out of it! LOL)
home for the night

It's monday again I needed a three day weekend things around here are ramping up

up
boys up
breakfast & lunches for them
boys to bus
load/run dishwasher
get ready (i'm spoiled I take them to the bus in my jammies) went back to bed but I'm up and moving now
call about 2 jobs then follow up with email of cover letter & resume for the 1st finish cover letter for second and email them (left over from friday)
do 1 load of laundry put away
lunch
make egg saladmake mashed potato for early dinner
get boys off bus
whole night just got reaaranged as swim team starts to night great communication people now I'm running around rearranging the day and I can't get a hold of the husband in the hay field no cell service in that particular field
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
homework for DS8
throw dinner at him and DH
them outh the door for hunters safety
DS11 and I eat and bedtime routine for him
DS 8 home late and to bed right off the bat

this is the last night of easy week back to swim team practice 4 nights a week for DS11 starting tues.

That's what we call it around here... It's honestly the moistest chicken I've ever made! I got a stand at a kitchen store for about $8, load the can in the stand, load the chicken on the stand, put onions in the top, spray with pam, dust with Montreal chicken seasoning, put the chicken on the lowest shelf in the oven, and let it go... Yummy!

i've felt lousy all weekend. i really want to go to wallymart and pick up a SANTA gift. i know that have what i'm looking for and want to get it so i know i'll have it! not wanting to chance it!

It's Monday! Yeesh. Today is also my birthday, so I'm hoping for a nice, calm day as a "present". Probably won't work, but I can hope!

Didn't get as much done this weekend as I would've liked, but off to another week!!

Here's my list for today:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. Clean DH's bathroom
4. Get cards & stuff for work
5. Write thank-you note
6. DS up
7. DS to mom's
8. Stuff for week to mom's
9. Work
10. Pick up DS
11. Clean our bedroom
12. Wash 2 loads of laundry--one done!
13. Put fall decorations out on porch
14. Change out front flag
15. Dinner?
16. DH--mow
17. P365 pic
18. Go to sleep sort of early!!

Wasn't here Friday because it's my day off, so I didn't do anything, and by the time I got up at... uhm... oh.... 12... it was too late to say anything.

Monday's course of action:

Up
Do some homework so I don't have to do it after work
Get ready for school
Class #1
Meeting with Dean to buy my airfare & stuff for seminar in D.C. next month (I made the mistake of telling DBF that they're having us all stay at the Grand Hyatt, and I got all excited - then I remembered they didn't invite him to the seminar. Whoops....)
Class #2
Run for city bus
Work
Home
Eat
Homework if I have any energy left

No update on the Judicial Review Board yet - some people screwed up the vote last week, because they're stupid (wanted to ask a bunch of questions, even though they had a week to do so before the vote), etc, etc. So no idea what's going on at this point.

Monday Monday...

Couldn't sleep, thinking about the bills that are due. I hate that! Not that they are HUGE or anything, but I've got to move some $ around. It's tough getting paid every 2 weeks. Anyhow...

Coffee (must go do this soon!)
PrincessM, up, fed, watered, dressed, bus (make sure she has her glasses!)
Make my lunch
Go to PO
Work
PrincessM to softball clinic (hitting and fielding)
Review homework she and DH have done
Dinner? They will have eaten.
Dishes
TV/bed!

The adjuster is coming from the insurance company tomorrow to look at my kitchen ceiling. Unsure yet if anything is going to be covered, but we have a $500 deductible anyway.

I remember taking a job closer to home for less money, but not realizing at the time they pay MONTHLY!

That took me three months of ramen noodles to get used to before I could buy a coffee out again and not worry.

I can feel your pain Jennifer.

Get kiddos to school.
Get to grocery store and then local stores to check out bags.
Finish the last load of laundry [for today]
Get Swap to post office.
Figure out dinner. Maybe one of those meals-in-a-box things.
Go to library and get some books on bread making.
Homework, dinner, soccer practice.

Morning all!

Debbie, we love that chicken too! Its good with Sprite too, if you don't have any beer on hand.

SIOH - Happy Birthday!

Not much on my list today that's productive.....

Get boys up and ready for school
Pack lunches for 3 of us
DH to drive school bus this am & pm
Go to work
Pick up boys at 3:15
General pick up around house
Homework for DS1, practice printing whatever letter DS2 learned in Kinderarten today (he's struggling, and other than repetition, I don't know how to help him)
DS1 & DH around neighborhood to sell some scout popcorn
Dinner
DH & DS1 to scout meeting

My DH started as a sub bus driver for the schools here this year. One of the drivers went in the hospital yesterday; so he's driving her route all week except Tuesday, when he works. Thank goodness it's his week to only work one day. He went and got the bus yesterday and brought it home, and our dogs HATE it. They barked at it driving in, they barked at it every time they saw it out the window, and they barked at it this morning when he was getting it ready to go. I really hope they get used to it....very soon
