Need info and Cabin picture with twin beds...

Does anyone have a cabin picture with the twin beds instead of the queen? We always get cat 6 and this year when we book for 2011 we are thinking of also getting a cat 11 across the hall for the boys. One is tall however, he is 6 ft. Wondering also if it is a typical twin size or bigger?

Will get a queen if the twins are not large enough. But the boys I have no doubt will drive me crazy if they are sleeping in the same bed..you know like

He hit me when we were sleeping, he snored, he kept pulling off the covers all night, he had his face so close to mine and his breath stinks

Sooooooooo wondering about the twins

Thanks

The twin beds are actually just the queen bed seperated and the night stand put inbetween so it will be the same length.

that's good to hear. But will that make it skinnier than a regular twin? 2 twins together would be larger than a regular queen. Have you ever slept in one of them or your children?

Here you go! This isn't the one I was looking for but will do. The sofa is to the right in the picture.

The individual beds are narrower than a standard twin bed. They are the same width as the pull down murphy bed in the cat 3 & 4 rooms.

My 6' 7" hubby slept on one when we sailed with his daughter before we were married. It was only a 3-nighter, and he survived!

Thanks for the info and pictures. It made a difference. I am assuming they can also do this in any cat correct? WE may be bringing along one of the boys friends. Well he is like our 3rd son that will be 18 at the time. And he is tall also. My one son can sleep on the top/ the Murphy bed.

He has never been on a cruise before and he is best friends with my boys since birth. Funny we met him and his wife on there honeymoon on our and their first cruise. They are divorced and have not much money so would be fun to take him along with us as a graduation present.

Talk about coming around full circle having their son with us on his first cruise also. And it would be very special for our boys also. The 3 of them are very close.

They will squeeze in anywhere to be together on a trip like this. However they can be a handful together

you can put 2 boys in the twin beds and put the 3rd boy in the fold down couch, probably more comfortable than the one that pulls down from the ceiling. They will be more than comfortable.

keep in mind that cat 11s can sleep 3 (queen or two twins, plus sofa convertible bed) or 4 (with an additional pull down bed from the ceiling over the sofa). I'm not tech enough to post a picture but perhaps someone else can.

Just back from a cruise with the bed separated into two twins. They are a little (really, only a little) more narrow than a standard twin. Obviously the same length as the usual configuration.

Do all the queen beds in all the cabins separate? Like if we decide to get a second CAT 6 adjoining room. I sure hate that they dont release the stupid prices ahead of time to give us all time to think and arrange. This has always been a pet peave with me cruising Disney.

I appreciate everyones input so much. Thanks

The beds in cats 4-12 do. Of course, don't be set on one particular category because they are revamping the entire system and each numerical level will have different letters. The revised deck plans are not online yet but these are from descriptions on DCL's website. There is a thread with that info now too.

hehehe yes I have posted on that thread as well. As if I'm not confussed enough. After all the DC we have been on I am set in my ways. No change please unless it is adding 63" big screen TV's in the rooms.
