What do you bring home?

We have 21 days till our trip and I was thought it would be fun to get everyone's Christmas gift from Disney. What do you bring home for your friends and families? No one collects anything although my dad likes to cook and both my parents ride Harley's. I have 3 sisters (20, 18, 16) 1 brother (13) and a sister in law (20) as well as my husband's parents.

Sorry but I only bring things back for those who help us out...for instance, my mom used to take care of our dog so we would bring her back fudge.

I don't understand the concept of bringing someone else back a remembrance of your vacation. I don't know why they would want it. Unless, of course, they're Disney freaks.

This could be really fun. I'd try to match it up with what they like. Does anyone like a sport or certain team? What kind of jobs do they have anything that matches that? A nice pen or desk set for an office worker type, a mickey firefighter thing for a firefighter ect. Comfy pj's or sweatshirts are always nice. Does anyone collect Precious Moments? They have Disney ones there. Big coffee mugs. Mickey cookware. Apron and pot holders. They have everything there. Who wouldn't want a Mickey waffle maker? That'd bring a smile to my face everytime I used it. Or you could get everyone an ornament or a stocking. They have a christmas store in DTD I believe. Pick up a little pixie dust while your at it then you can sprinkle some in the gifts before you wrap them. But a word to the wise, I am a Disney Freak so you may not want to take advice from me!! But it could be fun!! Enjoy your trip and whatever you get will be great.

I get stuff sometimes to put away for Christmas presents -- usually kitchen stuff or if it's close to December and won't go bad, cute Mickey food items (the hot cocoa sampler is always a hit). Those little tins of mints with the Disney characters on them are a great stocking stuffer for other people, too. And there's that soap store in DTD that is perfect for gifts to others, without splashing the Disney brand in their face...hey, there's a joke in there somewhere...splashing in their face...soap...

Anyhoo, my MIL brought me a Mickey sweatshirt years and years ago and it's one of my favorites to this day. And my mom brought me a charm from her trip to Arizona, and I wear it happily on my charm bracelet.

Have fun!

Be careful i used to take my time and really think of nice thing to bring back for family and come to find out they would never use it. If they are not Disney lovers they just won't use whatever we brought them in my experience. And its not like we were getting then mickey ears or tee shorts some things were my brother loves coffee so I picked out coffee things like that but because it had the mouse it just got put away.

With that said some of the best things we bring back now hardly cost us any money. They are mostly for us but you could make fun gifts out of them. I always buy the pop corn buckets and mugs anywhere we go. You could then put filler stuff from home in them. We also collect the squished pennies. Maybe some things from the countries in Epcot. I always get a new pair of chop sticks.
Hope this helps

With that list, you can spend a lot of money at WDW on presents. Like sk!mom, we bring presents for a neighbor who picked up our mail one year because I forgot to stop it.

But, since your are looking for Christmas presents, we have purchased picture holders while at WDW. We have given them to parents, who usually pictures of the grandchildren in them. We have also purchased Disney earings (Mickey ears) in the birthstone for DDs (7,5).

There are lot of opportunity at DTD and theme parks. Also, if you are on DIsney Property, you can purchase it at a theme park and have it sent to your room. Of, if in the theme park, purchase and have it sent to guest services so you can pick it up when you exit the park instead of carrying it around all day.

You have Harley lovers in your life, there is an Orlando Harley Davidson store very near WDW.....if you will have a car. I believe it is near the intersection of 192 and International Drive...near Celebration. I have a son that rides a Harley and I usually pick him up a t-shirt or something with that city on it if I am traveling and go near a Harley outlet. Doesn't say Disney on it, but it will say Orlando! and the Harley part might mean more to them.

Just had another thought....is there a Harley Davidson cafe in DTD, West Side now? I kind of remember reading that there was going to be one, but I have not been to the West Side my last few visits. They would have something there for your parents too.
