Where to celebrate 2 birthdays?
We will visit in Jan 2010 to celebrate my DD9 and DS6 birthdays. It will be a surprise for both. My DD bday is on arrival day and we are staying at BLT, so I thought we would do Chef Mickey's. Minnie is her favorite so that should be good. The question though, where to celebrate for my DS. He likes Donald, Goofy and Pluto but isn't a huge character fan, so I'm not sure if he would care about a character meal. Can you think of any other ways to celebrate for him? I'd like them to each have their own birthday celebration. He's also not big into the pirates or Star Wars. Any ideas?

How great to be able to celebrate not just one of their birthdays but both! We celebrated my DD (4) birthday last year in Nov. at Disney. We actually ate at 1900 PF, Crystal Palace, and Chef Mickey's...what can I say, we love characters?
![]() Your daughter will love Chef Mickey's for her birthday, being a Minnie fan. For your son, maybe a more grown up alternative. Is he a sports fan? You could consider the ESPN club. Or maybe something that could be fun for the whole family like Teppan Edo (Epcot in Japan, they cook in front of you) or Coral Reef. But your kids will both have buttons telling people that it is there birthday and their "special days" will be recognized EVERYWHERE you go throughout your entire trip. Happy early birthdays! |

He might enjoy the Garden Grill in Epcot. We celebrated a birthday there last week. We saw Mickey, Pluto and Chip and Dale. My daughter (6) actually danced with Chip and we got a celebration cupcake, and a card signed by the characters. My kids liked the rotation of the restaurant throughout the meal as well, and thought it was pretty neat.
