Matterhorn Climbers

Is there a particular time of day we should be looking for them? Or is it totally random? Are they seasonal like the parades?

I have been to Disneyland maybe 40 times in my entire life during all times of the year and I cannot recall ever seeing Matterhorn climbers. Just my luck I guess.

Sorry I can't help with an answer.

I was just thinking about the Matterhorn climbers this weekend. We saw an old special about Disneyland's 10th anniversary and they showed climbers on the Matterhorn. I'm pretty sure I saw climbers when I was there in spring of 2000. I have no idea if they still do it or not, so I'm curious to follow this thread and see if anyone else out there has information.

It used to be on Sundays at noon.....that's when we saw it, but I'm not sure if or when they are still having this, or if maybe it's seasonal. It's been a while since we've seen it, so hopefully somebody with some recent experience can help.

I haven't been in a couple of years, but I have seen climbers almost everytime I have been there over the years....since the Matterhorn was installed....that is.
Last time it was several climbers with Mickey and Goofy...all the way to the top...

That's the only time I've ever seen them, too. Just checked my own photos of it, and they were taken slightly before noon on December 31, 2006.

The last photo I took of the Matterhorn climbers was on April 29, 2007 at 12.42pm PDT:

I haven't seen them since.
