Preferred rooms
I was wondering.....curious actually...has anyone ever paid for a preferred room and got a standard room location?

I had a friend that happened to this summer. He had booked a waterview pirate room at CBR, got there and was in a regular non pirate non waterview room. They reimbursed him the difference after he brought it to CM's attention.

It happened to me. We had a prefered room book at the All Star Music, and ended up back in non-prefered Broadway section. The CM at check in told me that quite a few guests decided to extend their stays, and Disney policy was to not make them switch rooms.
They did refund me the difference, but we had wanted prefered rooms because my mom had just had some minor surgery and we were trying to limit her walking as much as possible.
