Talking Few Questions...Hope they haven't been asked before!

Hi Guys... Hoping you can help me.
Family & I are going to Santa Fe next Wednesday and I have a few questions /Requests..
1) As we are driving from Dunkerque to DLRP, I wondered if anyone has any particular knowledge of the drive, DH is doing it and I would love a stress free start to my break
( did look on sticky thread, but no info on driving on there as yet! )
2) Have just come across the Fantasyland Breakfast.. wasn't aware of this before.Has anyone used it recently? Can I book it when we check in? I thought it was good idea, as I am longing to see main street, people free!!
3)I think the EMH is running each day next week, so any insider tips for where to go? I have read that Buzz is a good option!!!
Thanks in advance for any tips/ advice.
Val
Roll on next week !

No idea about the Dunkurque-DLRP drive, sorry!

Good morning fantasyland breakfast - it's a bit of a grey area, but if you ask at check in if it is available you might get lucky!

EMH - When we went a month ago, Buzz, Orbitron and Space Mountain were open in Discoveryland, and Dumbo, Carousel, Tea Cups and I *think* Snow White were open in Fantasyland.....we just used the time to ride Buzz over.....and over......and over..........!!!

I should add, if you aim to be in the parks for opening of EMH at 8am you'll see the park pretty quiet anyway, and you'll get more done, we found that from about 9am it got pretty busy and the queue times were deffo longer between 9 and 10.

Another good ride to aim for in EMH is Peter Pan as queues build up for this later in the day

Fantasyland breakfast is only available if you are staying at certain hotels so it depends where you are staying

If you're in Santa Fe you should be alright I think I think you just can't get it in HNY and DLH as it would essentially be a downgrade (no hot food, etc)

Yes, if its available, you'll be able to ask for Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast when you check in at the Santa Fe.

EMH starts earlier than the first slot for Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast, so to see Main St empty (and get the best of the rides with no queues) aim to be at the park for the first hour of EMH ie 8am.

Sorry to jump on your thread, but another question about the Fantasyland breakfast - does anyone know if it's only available to those staying on site? We're staying in the dream castle, so was wondering if they'd be able to book it for us?

I'm afraid not - its only available to those staying at the Santa Fe, Cheyenne, Sequoia Lodge, and Newport Bay Club hotels.

If you ask any CM on the phone while you're booking, you'll be told that. Its because its no longer available to book in advance (and so probably doesn't even exist on their computer system anymore). You just wait until you check in to ask .

The ability to request it in advance was discontinued 3 years ago.

I am pretty sure the Fantasyland breakfast was at Plaza Gardens last week - we couldn't use it as we were at the DCR but there were a lot of people coming in and out of Plaza Gardens during EMH.

Can't help about the Dunkerque drive but we drove from Calais and it is a fine drive. The only slightly tricky bit is just after the CDG airport section but even that is not too bad.

As for EMH, I would definitely do as much as you can in that time. Peter Pan is a great ride at EMH time but so not worth queueing up for an hour for during normal times. If you are heading into Discovery first, I'd do Orbitron before Buzz as the queue for Orbitron is slower moving and queues build up quite quickly.

Thanks for all your replies.
I am defintely wanting to go to the Fantasyland breakfast..it makes sense as we are going there for EMH anyway!
I assume the courtesy buses will be working at that time of the morning to enable us to get to DP for 8?
