"Have a nice Day" - Day 1
Woke up early today, and went straight to the balcony to see what animals were in the savannah. This became a big habit over the holiday and something that I thorough enjoyed doing.
We got dressed and went up to concierge for breakfast. It is really relaxing in the lounge and around 7.00 a.m there is hardly anyone there. I had croissants with philadelphia and grapes, which became my usual breakfast on this holiday. Lauren had fruit loops, which she has loved ever since her first visit and always has them  As always, our first day always happens at Magic Kingdom and we drove to the park for park opening. We know when we are in Disney when we are on the monorail and hear "please stand clear of the doors". When we get to the entrance I always find myself crying when the train comes round to the entrance and I see the characters. At this point I am glad that I have my sunglasses on so that people cant see me crying as it is quite embarassing really - but I dont seem to be able to control it  We decide to go through the shops towards the castle once they let us in, which I love as I always like to see what new things are around. I eye up some new Mickey Mouse t shirts which I later buy in the holiday. Lauren sees alot of jewellery she likes and Kevin isnt bothered with shopping, he now wants to get on the rides. We have decided that we are not going to go mad round the park, we will go on a few rides we like and take it slow. We go on winnie the pooh, buzz lightyear, haunted mansion, tea cups and goofys barn stormer and watch Monsters Inc. Kevin and Lauren also go on the racing cars so I do some more shopping and buy Kevin a Disney bum bag to hold the camera in. We have decided before the holiday that today we would have lunch at Gasparillos at Grand Floridian and as it is very hot go over on the boat to GF. As usual we have the jerk chicken wrap which is enough for 2 people and Kevin has the italian sandwich. It is lovely being back at GF but we are glad that we are not staying here on this trip as there is a lot of renovation work happening and we would be disappointed if we had paid to be there! After lunch we head back to the hotel and relax in concierge. At 5.30 we have a reservation for Cape May which we enjoy. Really enjoying this, Rachel...
I'm just the same with not being able to control the tears - however much I try my eyes just leak...  We also love Gasparillas over at GF - tho' I'm sad they no longer do the baked potato which I would load with guacamole and sour cream from the fixings bar...
