If you are staying on property and since you have a little one, try to take advantage of the Magical Mornings and get into DL early. Fantasyland will be open and you can get on most of the rides without much wait. That way when the Lil' one needs a nap, you can go back to your room and take a rest yourself while he naps. Go back later and enjoy more rides or see more of the park. My DH can't take one long day in the park. I find if we break it up like this, he enjoys his trip better. We have older girls (11 and 14), but we still go back to the room midday.

If you are unfamiliar with FastPass, do your research and use it to your advantage. Even during slower times of the year (like Feb) it comes in handy and will save you from longer lines on the popular rides like Space, Splash, and Indy.

Would he wear a "First Visit" pin? I think the cast members give you special treatment if they see it's your first visit.

Yup...definitely take advantage of the FPs but you have to remember that your little one won't be able to get on some of those rides so find out about the height requirements for rides and also read up about the Single Rider Line. However, I understand that since it's your husband's first time, you guys might want to do the rides together.

And of course, you'll have to let him try the turkey legs, churros and Dole Whips/Floats
