As much as I enjoy things like olives and various exotic cheeses, I actually prefer a simple meal when flying. Also, I prefer not to drink so the wine choices would be wasted on me. I'll be happy with my vegetarian lasagne and water!

A bacon roll for breakfast would be much better than that horrible, horrible, damp, smelly croissant thing they serve up now.

I think I would still find it hard to pick from most of the mains I don't eat fish or like mushrooms so I would have to get the beef thing and that doesn't sound too appealing either, I guess I was expecting a bit more choice - but I hope you enjoy it (I'd pay the money - if we could afford it - for the seats alone). I'd eat most of the other things though, can you get 2 desserts like on the cruise

The flight back yesterday, the food was disgusting - I dont usually mind the food but it was gross yesterday. They seem to be cutting back and it is definitely not as good.

Upper Class does seem appealing though

We flew back on Friday, trust me Obi don't have the chicken or the ''chocolate'' cheesecake. Disgusting doesn't even cover it. That said every steak i've had on-board resembles chared cardboard so I would not recommend that either.
I personally will be taking prob a pret-a-manger on-board along with some sweeties as I just refuse to eat the garbage they call food.
The suite itself however is fantastic and worth the price of a UC ticket all on its own which is pretty handy considering all the wonderfully little extras Virgin used to give their UC passengers have now vanished.
