Name Pictures?

A friend asked me where she could find someone in Disney who could make one of those name cards where the letters are made out of pictures. She got 2 for her older children on Main Street at Disney Land but we don't know where to find them at the world. If anyone knows where she could find them it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a picture but I am looking for the same thing...at least I think you are.

Last year while visiting Disneyland, my cousin and I got our names written with graphic representations of Disney Characters. The cart was in the DTD area. So my name is Alice and the "A" had Cinderella as part of the letter. There was a lot of glitter and other painted Mickey heads on my picture. They also wrote Disneyland 2008 on it for me. I bought the frame and I would really like one from WDW.

I know that there is a booth a DTD that will write your name using Asian characters, or butterflies, flowers, or whatever you want. But I like the one I got because it was a representation of Disney Characters. My cousin got her name and her husband's name with Sleeping Beauty characters.

I don't know of a place at WDW that does them, but you could make your own. I did that this summer in Charleston. It became a bit of a scavenger hunt to "find" the different letters of our last name. I think it could be quite fun at WDW too. It would make you slow down and really enjoy the amazing details of the parks.

I am almost sure I saw something like this at a booth in DTD in Florida this summer. If the letters didn't actually include characters, it was a good enough representation of the character's clothing or signature hat that you could tell what it was supposed to be.

I guess picture is the wrong word to use.

1. They letters are actually painted.
2. And yes there is a booth at DTD that paints the names but they use items like butterflies and flowers....
3. At Disneyland you could get characters or symbols (hats, clothing) from characters.

If I find it I find it...but it's no big deal to me. Going to the World in 23 days so I will be looking for them. It would be fun to have one from DL and one from WDW.
