I don't have time to write a lengthy review yet, but we just arrived home last night from a wonderful 5 days at the BC, including a surprise upgrade to CL!
Here is the schedule for offerings in the lounge: 7:00-10:00 - Continental breakfast (most mornings had bagels, mini muffins, sweet rolls, cantalope, honeydew, watermelon, hard boiled eggs, cereal, juices, milk, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate [Nescafe machine with about 10 choices] 11:00 - 4:00 - Snacks - soft drinks, juice, coffee, swedish fish, yogurt pretzels, snack mix, cookies, and these wonderful homemade potato chips with kind of a southwest dip 5:00 - 7:00 - Beer, wine, soft drinks, hot and cold appetizers (changed day to day, but usually veggies and dip, and wonderful choices like crab rangoon, egg rolls, chicken skewers, mini duck quesadillas, bacon-wrapped scallops, etc.) 8:00 - 10:00 - Desserts and cordials Although the food was wonderful (and reduced our food budget significantly!), to me the best part of the experience was the friendly atmosphere and wonderful service by everyone. You will absolutely LOVE it!

We stayed at the BC Concierge level a year ago and to be honest I'm not sure it's really worth the extra money.
Don't get me wrong, we loved being able to walk down the hall and grab some snacks, sit around in the lounge and watch the TV etc. but we were on the dining plan when we went and we ended up with something like 10 snack credits left over at the end of our trip because of the offerings at the concierge lounge. If you are not doing the dining plan then I think it's worth the extra money but honestly, other than the food and drinks (and my wife and I are not drinkers) there really isn't much of a difference. The staff working the desks each day were very nice but we, as most folks on here do, booked our dining reservations far in advance so we didn't need to use them for anything. Just my 0.02 cents! Can you get the Concierge Level as a DVC member visiting on points or just as a cash stay?

I totally agree with subtchr. We stayed at BC Club a little over a month ago and absolutely loved it! I do agree that this combined with the dining plan would be too much food, though. We thought the lounge was really cozy and we mostly enjoyed the offerings between 5:00-7:00.

IMHO the lounge area is very small, especially when you compare it to other concierge lounges, and yes I know that this is due to the fact that is was added after. The staff is wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay. However, as others have said if you have the dining plan it is too much food. We had the dining plan, which we love, so we didn't really take much advantage of the food in the lounge. The breakfast was nice though. We always seemed to find the area way too crowded and just would take our food back to out room and have it on the balcony which was very enjoyable.
Enjoy The Magic!! |

I have added 12 pictures to the following Flickr account. I don't want to post them on the thread, since they take up so much room, but they are available for public viewing at:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/30822357@N08/?saved=1 If the website address gets distorted, the title is "Disney's Beach Club Concierge Lounge" and the id is 30822357@N08/?saved=1 Hope this works! Please note that the photos are from July, before the remodel to the BC concierge lounge. Unfortunately, we were never around in the early evening for appetizer offerings so I don't have any pictures of those, but from what I have read, they sound SPECTACULAR! We had the dining plan, and spent most of our time in the parks, but we found the breakfast in the lounge particularly helpful- since there are limited counter service options near the Beach Club, it was great to sit and have some fruit, cereal, pastries, juice and COFFEE to start our day. There were also a couple of times that we brought a lunch back from one of the EPCOT restaurants or Hurricane Hannahs and it was nice putting the food on real plates, and adding beverages or a sweet treat from the lounge. My husband and I are not really drinkers, but we did enjoy taking a glass of Amaretto back to our room one evening- we went out on our balcony overlooking the lobby entrance during an amazing lightning storm. As others have mentioned, the service is amazing! We couldn't do anything for ourselves- when we were looking for a pencil sharpener, one of the concierge CMs went down to the lobby to sharpen our pencils! It is also really nice to have packages purchased in the park delivered right to our room.
