Giving a reservation to a family member?
If I make a reservation for a stay on my points, but want to give it to a family member and their immediate family, (I wouldn't be going), can I do that or is it considered like a transfer or something? (family member is NOT a DVC member). Would I just explain this to MS and provide them with the family's names and address?
Thanks!

You can make reservations using your points for anyone you wish. When you call to make the ressie, just have the names, address and ages for each person in the party.

However, also remember that your guests will not be accorded the same status as you, the DVC owner. So, if you make ressies for them, they will have to pay for internet access as they are not the owner. Stuff like that.
But, as others have said, you can make ressies for anyone you wish. Not, also, that you are financially responsible for anything that happens on reservations made for other people. This hardly ever means anything, but if something should happen, you are liable, not your guests. But, with family, you don't have to worry!
