pre trip report - The DIS Discussion Forums

Well seeing as I am down to SD now I thought I would put up my pre trip plan.

Present
Me Chief planner/organiser/WDW guru and everything else
DW Chief worrier/WDW veteran also(13 trips)
DBIL 4th visit Chief party animal
DSIL 4th visit Chief Tesco organiser

This trip has been completly funded with Tesco clubcard points, throw in free dining plan so plenty of cash left over for spending( Oh not spent any yet

)

Working Thursday 10th being picked up from work and off to Quality Inn at Altrincham for the night

Friday 11th Up nice and early off to terminal2 and await the Virgin 10:20 flight. Upon arrival ME to AKL quick unpack and off to Walmart to stock up on essentials (Beer, water, beer, snacks and a few beers just in case). Probably eat at the Mara

Saturday 12th A full day at the MK ADR at Chef Mickey

Sunday 13th Another full day planned for Epcot and ADR at San Angel

Monday 14th Bit of a lay in then off to TL until around 14:00 then back changed and off to DHS with ADR at Mama Melrose. Extra magic hours so a late night tonight.

Tuesday 15th Plan on doing both US and IOA today then back to hotel for an ADR at Boma's. Plan on meeting up with my cousin and family here tonight.

Wednesday 16th Full day at the AK with ADR at Tuskers (love it here) when park closes we will head off to DTD for the evening and maybe DQ.

Thursday 17th TL this morning leave around 14:00 then back and change for an evening at MK with ADR at Cali Grill and watch wishes from there.

That is the first weeks plans 2nd week to follow.

We're on the same flight!

Our first couple of days sound very similar: after we have checked in at CSR, we're also off to Walmart for the essentials, however we're planning on spending the evening at Epcot. On the Sat, we're having a full day at MK too!

Looking forward to seeing the rest of your plans.

Looks like you will get to ride HRRR before me so you will have to give me a blow by blow account. When was the last time you went to US??

You'll have to let me know what you think of Cali Grill. We loved it there after someone recommended it to us, but we have also seen some negative reviews on here.

Hurry up and get Week 2 up.

Certainly will buddy, if it is anything like Manta it will be great.
Last time I was there not too sure now seems a while back.
Cali Grill will let you know, I will remember not to order the 4 leave salad from someone's recommendation too.

Love your first week trip report - sounds as though you've got a great trip planned!

Looking forward to reading the second half - especially the evening of 24th September when you're attending the Wishes Dessert Party accompanied by 2 fellow Disers, Suzycute and Wishspirit! (we can't wait!!)

As promised here is the 2nd weeks activities

Friday 18th Spending all day at DHS with ADR at Hollywood and Vine

Saturday 19th All day at the AK with ADR at Yak and Yeti then spending the evening at the Old town car night.

Sunday 20th Morning at TL then head over to Wilderness Lodge for a hour on the boats and ADR at Whispering Canyon. Then head into the MK for the rest of the evening.

Monday 21st DW finally got me to take her shopping then spend the rest of the day in Epcot with ADR at Le Cellier (a first for us and the one I am really looking forward to)

Tuesday 22nd A trip to Seaworld today, ADR at O'hana's in the evening to watch the fireworks and relax back at the resort.

Wednesday 23rd Spend the morning at DHS and head over to Epcot for the Evening. Stop off at Beaches and Cream for a kitchen sink and have ADR at Cape May's.

Thursday 24th Morning at BB then ADR at Trails End with a mad rush to MK for the rest of the day. Also attending the Wishes dessert party, thumbs up for the update from Suzycute and also look forward to meeting you and Wishspirit that evening.

Friday 25th Time to head off home but got the later flights at 17:30 so have most of the day free but no plans as yet, will just wing it today.

Saturday 26th Arrive back home after what will be another great trip but no rest as it is my Son's 21st and have some celebrating to do with him.

Thank you for reading looks like there is a lot of us out at this time so you never know who we may bump into. Will get around to a after trip report sometime in the future.
