photos on photopasss with special character enhancement - The DIS Discussion Forums

On our list trip to Disney we had a bunch of pictures taken and put on our photopass and when we went online to look at them a couple of them had what looked to be like a photoshop character or something like that. For instance at MK it was tinkerbell in our hands and I think it was HS that had stich coming up from the ground. Is this something specific you need to ask for and are there any other photos like this I could look for on our upcoming trip in October???

I've never asked for this but I would assume you could specifically ask for these.

At Animal Kingdom they took a ridiculous picture of my mom and I- they told me to look like I was holding a baby and have her look at what I was holding adoringly. They put a baby simba in my arms. It was kind of cute but kind of... ridiculous looking. I've seen a few pics online of Mickey or Minnie put in, sitting next to people.

I think our problem was that we didn't overplay it- we probably should have been a little more animated/funny looking in the staged pictures (also would probably be great with kids, but it was a mother daughter trip).

Ask the photopass person. I'm sure there's got to be more than I've mentioned.

This is something you can ask for, but only certain photopass can do.... They are also only supposed to do at certain times as well... At Epcot, you can get a photo of you and your group pointing towards the sky and the charcacters are in a hang glider flying into the picture... As you mentioned, there is the tinkerbell one, the stitch one, and the lion king one also.... They are park specific... You can also get Mickey or Minnie sitting with you at a bench an MK, and if you can find it, you can get stitch eating an ice cream with you... They are kinda fun, and I would just ask the photopass people you see... They really are hit and miss, and if you can find one, I would take it....

Certain photographer's can do certain extra's but we had to ask for ours. Here's a site with a list of all the extra's and where/when to find them.

Go 1/2 way down to find them.

Here's another thing, we ran into Mickey and Minnie late one night near the castle. That picture let us put on Signatures for both Mickey and Minnie but no other picture let us do it. I'm assuming the photographer marks that picture digitally to give you the option.
