Any pics of Publix cakes? Disney themed Publix cakes?

My DH was going to make us a cake for our at home reception, but I don't think that he'll be able to do it now. Instead we are going to opt for a Publix cake.

Has anyone had them do a Disney type cake? If so can you please post pics?

Thanks

I LOVE PUBLIX CAKES! I grew up in Florida, but I live in Pittsburgh now. I didn't think about it until you just said something, but maybe I should have my mother bring a Publix cake for my Pgh shower in October!

Thank you!

Cake with a Photo

For my DH's birthday this past March I took a photo of him when he was about 5 (one of his favorite photos) and they put this on the cake. It was unbelievable how great it came out and everyone loved it. Why don't you take a nice wedding photo of the two of you and have that put on the cake. Maybe they can add some "hidden Mickey" heads in the part where they do the writing. Not sure where the photo is now but if I can find it I will post it.

Linda

Are you thinking of still having a wedding type cake?

If so, here are some that they do (in case you haven't found it yet)...maybe they can do mickey heads with icing around the cake, or maybe you can pick up a figurine for the topper and have them do something inexpensive that will coordinate well. I looove Publix cake...good choice!

Thanks for the link! I've seen it. I was just wondering if anyone has had them put hidden mickey heads on the cake, or write Happily Ever After, or something along those lines. I want it to look similar to some of the DFTW cakes, but the more simple ones.

Anyone have anymore at home reception cakes not done by Disney?
