Dining (and Lunching) in DLP

Hi. We are embarking on our first DLP trip and I have so many questions. This board was a huge help last year when we went to WDW, so I'm back for more help. Thanks for all ans in advance; they are all appreciated.

One of the reasons why I loved my vacation to WDW last year was the dining. I am a celiac and must follow a gluten free diet and WDW is the absolute best vacation spot for a person with dietary restrictions. I felt absolutely spoiled with choice! Other than my gluten intolerance, I also have several food allergies. As a family we don't normally eat fast food and enjoy going to nice restaurants so we had the deluxe dining plan which included all table service.

Does DLP have a similar approach to food allergies as WDW?

What are the nicest restaurants for dinner in DLP?

Also w WDW, I was shocked to find out that I had to make all lunch and dinner ressies far in advance. Is that necessary in DLP? If so, how far in advance?

I booked with the "all your meals free" option with a reservation at the Disneyland Hotel. I see that for lunch, only counter service is available. Does anyone know which counter service places would be good for someone who can't have sandwiches, pizza, breaded fish, etc? Or should I just avoid counter service all together and book table service lunches?

wow, so lots of questions. If you made it this far, I thank you!

Yes they do...best to email them first on DLP.GUEST.COMMUNICATION@disney.com and they will be able to tell you where and what you can eat with your dietry restrictions

My personal favorates are Walt's, Annettes Diner and also the Chuck Wagon Buffet at the Cheyenne Hotel

Certainly not...if you are going off-peak then you will be able to book in person at City Hall or at your Hotel reception on the day. We tend to book for the rest of the trip on the first day just so that we don't have to keep going back every time we want to book

I really think your best bet is to email them...or have a look at what the restuarants serve here do you can get a better feel for what they serve at each place
