We think : our best one yet!!

The two weeks flew past, got back to our home midday Thursday, did the washing, spent yesterday ironing and still feeling the jet-lag

However we had a fantastic time

We were lucky to ride the Hollywood Rip Roar Rocket on the second day of testing, with only a 20 minute wait - I think it was a case of being in the right place at the right time!

Drove to St. Pete's beach and spotted a pod of dolphins whilst we were swimmimg

Had some fantastic meals on the DDP - me and DS's have fond memories of DH doing the Little Tea Pot dance at Whispering Caynon

Loved Tot Story Mania only got to do it once because the queues were so long - up to 120 mins

Got given fast passes for Soarin' and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster - people passing on the Disney Magic

Had a truly magical day at Animal Kingdom - not sure if I should let on or not, but DH managed to get us fast passes for Everest, the Rapids and the Safari ride all at the same time, don't understand how, but hey! It meant we got to do everything in one day even riding Everest three times

Loved Phiharmagic as ever.

Parades all fantastic, the Toy Soldiers really work hard at DHS Block party - how they didn't melt, I don't know

The weather was really hot and humid - storms and rain in the afternoons and evenings, but we somehow missed most of it with our ADR's - pure luck. DH was grateful to avoid buying the raincoats!

Had Wishes delayed on our first Saturday - due to a small fire on the Castle, but watching the firemen do their checks was entertaining for me

Back to reality now

Thanks to all who helped us with our planning and to all of you still waiting for your 2009 hols - have a great time

It was in one of the turrets - couldn't see any flames, just loads of smoke. No panic the Castle is still there!!

Hubby was in The Exhibition at the time and couldn't believe the pics he was seeing. I heard the sirens, but was almost at the end of a 10 hour ironing marathon. I hope your house was unaffected, I heard that two were destroyed. How did it start?

it started in one of the fields behind what used to be the old school on poynters lane, the wind blew the fire across shoebury road, then it just kept going along the field between goldsworthy and seaview. 2 and a half houses in estuary gardens burnt down. it didnt affect us (we're on the other side of the road), but it also took out a load of back garden fences, sheds, conservatories and 2 cars. luckily no-one was seriously hurt but its a total mess round here at the mo

A six foot palm from Wal-Mart would make a very festive Christmas tree
Especially if covered with FROG ornaments!
